Isa’s POV “Well, isn’t this wholesome?” I sat up from the twin bed I’d fallen asleep in to find Julius leaning against the foot of the bed, his arm supporting his torso on either side. “Sleeping in his bedroom? You aren’t predictable, at all.” My brother's brown eyes glimmered with amusement. “What happened to all that talk about moving on, Isa?” I groaned as I stood from the bed. “Good gods. What did you do, swallow an entire melon?” My brother appraised my abdomen. I looked down at my stomach and cringed, running my hand over the slightly larger-than-yesterday bulge. “I’m heading into my second trimester,” I said with a sigh. “Everything’s going to start speeding up soon.” Julius frowned as I made my way past him to the stairway. I asked him over my shoulder, “What time is it?”
