EPISODE 13. ~~~~~ Two teenagers were seated at a coffee shop. They were laughing as they gossip about childish behavior. "Bryan, when did you come to New York?." Asked Diana as she sipped her hot coffee. "Let's just say two weeks ago ." He replied. "And you never contact me." She asked in a frown. "Come on little bird, you changed your contacts didn't you?." He asked, glancing around. "But, I never changed my account, right?." She replies with a question. "You mad?." He asked, focusing on her fully, as his eyes were careless of her beauty figure. "No.., I am so mad.., punk." She answered pouting out, Bryan titles his head to the side looking at her. "That was a good thing then, because I won a trophy." He murmured. "Meaning?" She frowns. "Your birthday is in the next few months, I have something for you." Bryan said, adjusting on his seat. "I would have asked, but I know who I am friends with ." Bryan laughs out, his dimples displaying, Diana has admired Bryan since childhood, she finds joy always being around him. She stares at him forgetting her world as the only thing that appears was her friend whom she has missed for the past eight months. A certain eye was observing everything , their laughter, their every move, his fist tightening on his cup as he glared at the guy with her, who had been laughing and gaining a blush from her. "That smile belongs to me. " He said to himself, a wild possession. The people he was with didn't take notice as they were lost in their wondrous chit chat. "When are you visiting?." Diana Asked "You mean your house, oh.., about that, it will be on your birthday." Bryan replied. "Oh.., okay." She murmured. "We should start heading back home, it's getting dark." Bryan said as he called one of the waitresses who came , he paid the bill, as he and Diana left the shop afterwards. The eyes are still following their movements. ~ Diana and Rita were seated on the dinner table as they dug into their food, the sound of the plates echoes. "Mom, I met someone today." Said Diana, Rita watched her daughter excitedly. "Who is that?." She asked curiously. "Guess," . Rita signs out. "Dian, you of all people know I am not good at guessing, so go straight to the point." She replies as she watches her daughter dance in excitement. "It's Bryan." Diana replies. Rita pauses, staring at her daughter for a while as she screams in joy. "Bryan?, you mean your childhood sweetheart?." Rita asked Diana, who was blushing. Yeah she won't deny that she once liked Bryan, but things have changed now. Rita chuckled, glancing at the tomato face in front of her. " Mom, that was then, I don't have such feelings for him again." "Why?Bryan is a good guy, and if it's possible, I would have gotten you betrothed to him, by the way it's not too late." Replies Rita. "Mom..?," Diana calls out, annoyed by her statement. Her mom knows Bryan ever since the death of her husband, on the same day Diana went missing, Rita almost ran mad searching for her daughter only to see her hugging a little Bryan. The moment was so fundamental and absolutely dedicated as tears claimed her already red eyes, ever since then Diana never stopped talking about Bryan and how he saved her, Bryan always visited until someday, they decided to move out of the town and reside in New York. "Have you told him yet?." Asked Rita, Diana frown confused. "About what?." She asked. "Your feelings." Rita replies looking at her daughter who eats her food, or maybe digging into her food. " Mom, it's just a childhood love feeling. I am a grown up now, and I have someone else in my heart, even though I have no idea if he feels the same. The problem is we don't communicate, and if we ever do, it leads to a fight." Diana signs out still digging in her plate, Rita scoffs. "Having trouble with a guy?." She asked, gaining a nod from her. "One thing that hurts the most in this world is having a one sided love, especially with teens." Rita Said. "I thought adult love hurts the most?." Rita laughs, she drinks from her cup of orange juice as she stares at nothing in particular. "No matter what I say, you won't get it, so what's the need of explaining, why not wait until you're fully an adult, maybe then you will know. You will get to know the difference between adult love and teens love.". Diana was confused, but still tries to understand what her mom was getting at. She has only one question, what is so different between teens love and adult love. The night went by as both mother and daughter spent their time watching Netflix.
