Zoya stood before Bryan, her eyes locked onto his like a predator sizing up its prey.
"You love her, don't you?" she asked, her voice confident, her tone dripping with amusement. Bryan's expression turned puzzled, his brow furrowed in confusion.
"I don't understand what you're getting at, Zoya." Zoya's smile grew wider, her eyes glinting with mischief.
"Don't play dumb, Bryan. I'm talking about Diana, your precious little bird. Do you love her?" Bryan's eyes turned cold. his gaze piercing like ice.
"Before you utter another word, Zoya, remember your place," he warned, his voice low and menacing. "I'd hate for you to overstep and find yourself on the receiving end of my wrath." Lori took a step back, sensing the danger emanating from Bryan like a palpable force.
