I groaned out in pain as the whip landed on my back for the umpteenth time. Ever since I was pushed into a dark room and suddenly got hit by a whip, I had lost count of how many times I had been hit. It had all happened fast because the woman had come from nowhere and started the attack on me for no reason. My robe was stripped out of my body, and I was tied to two poles in the room that had no room while the woman who found me in Voridian’s room sat in front of me, enjoying the show, watching as the guards whipped me hard with a solid black rod.
