Several hours had passed since the Raid troops found Rudy, the view of the sun rising from the east could not be separated from the Raid players who were preparing to prepare for war against the mob monster army that might soon break out.
The strategy made by Rudy in this war is not so complicated, but in fact very simple.
Rudy puts players who have high Vitality points, or often called Tankers in the forefront, then behind him follows Healer and Mage type players to heal Tankers and deal large damage attacks from close range to opposing troops.
Then there were the players who took Job Classes like Archer or something as ranged attacks in the mid-range. Initially, the formation was opposed by most of the Raid party leaders, but after Rudy explained further about his plan no one refused.
"Rudy, is it true that your only condition is that? It looks so trivial."
"Yeah, that's all. Why is that? Trouble for you?"
"No, it's just... you're just more impressed."
"Inviting you to a fight, shrimp brain?"
"Who are you calling shrimp brain, huh!?"
"That's what I'm pointing at."
"Oh-hey, your finger is pointing at me!!"
For some reason, in the midst of the tension of war between the players, they just disappeared when they saw the incoherent bickering of the two people in the front row.
Actually, Rudy and Ramsey were not at the forefront of the war, but they were just observing the situation. Well, albeit with a bit of non-seriousness.
"Rudy, an army of monsters has come out of the gates of Viredeta village!"
Responding to a call from Kynel who was observing the situation beside him, Rudy focused his eyes on the gate of Viredeta village which was approximately 200 meters away from where he was standing. Ramsey was also looking in the same direction following Rudy.
'Three hundred troops? Oh, sort of like an opening squad, huh? They underestimate us.
Rudy's brow furrowed knowing that the monster side's army didn't take out its main force all at once. Even though they didn't actually know that there was a Raid squad consisting of players nearby, of course, the number of around 300 personnel was very little if they wanted to pound Livetuna city to the ground.
Not happy to see this, Rudy activated the voicemail feature addressed to all party leaders who participated in this Raid.
"There's been a slight change of plans. Ramsey, Kynel, and I will go first to lure the main army of monsters out. Three-point bait."
"{Hey, didn't that go as planned!?}"
"That's why I said 'slight change of plans."
The party leader who replied to Rudy was silent when he received a striking answer. Even though a plan has been prepared as carefully and as detailed as possible, of course, reality will not let everything run smoothly.
After informing the party leaders of a slight change of plan, Rudy and Ramsey immediately stepped casually towards the horde of monster troops ahead. Kynel was initially scared and nervous when Reus mentioned that just now was forced to follow the two from behind.
"Rudy, are you sure they will be provoked? Shouldn't our strategy be a surprise attack?"
"Don't worry, we're just going to lure them into taking out their main force. Once their main force is out and the number of these 300 monsters has decreased slightly we'll head straight back into the forest. The trigger is up to you, Ramsey."
"Okay, I'll do my best."
Ramsey's enthusiasm multiplied once he got an explanation from Rudy which he understood quite well.
The reason Rudy decided to go out and lure an army of monsters with Ramsey was his attraction as someone strong. Sometimes in battle, a strong opponent has to be sorted out first, that's what Rudy is trying to do.
The three of them will unleash a tantrum on the 300 monster troops earlier, making the enemy must muster all his strength to finish them off first. When it comes to strength, Ramsey must be included. After all the enemy forces are released, then Rudy, Kynel, and Ramsey retreat to the forest and carry out their strategy.
"B-But Rudy, what's the point of me being here? Aren't I useless if the goal is to lure the enemy?"
"You're a Mage capable of dealing area damage to multiple enemies, I think that's worth considering."
"B-But my Magic skill doesn't have that much impact."
"It's okay, the most important thing is to attack and lure as many enemies as possible and keep them focused on you."
Kynel nodded slowly in Rudy's direction. At first, he was a little confused because his low-level and weak self was included in this decoy team, but when he found out about his job, Rudy was relieved. At least he can be useful for friends and other Raid troops.
The three of them, Rudy, Kynel, and Ramsey walked leisurely towards the army of monsters that had just come out of the gates of Viredeta village. The three of them had drawn their respective weapons and were ready to fight at any moment. Rudy with the Blackstar Sword in his right hand, Kynel using the Magic Staff which he gripped tightly in both hands, then Ramsey who hit his two Gloves lightly against each other.
Speaking of Ramsey, Gordon is resting in the Pet Realm, a special private location that only Pets and owners can visit and so cannot participate in this decoy team. Even though he can participate, Rudy will definitely tell Ramsey to return Gordon to the Pet Realm.
"Gaah, there's a human!"
One of the mob monsters that saw Rudy, Kynel, and Ramsey immediately shouted warning his comrades. Even though Kynel took on the Demon race the only real difference between Demons and Humans was the small horn that Demons had and the basic Vitality stat was slightly higher than the other races.
Several mobs in the army who heard the call immediately ran towards the three 'human' figures mentioned earlier to finish them off, but unfortunately, they were all gone in an instant.
Slash!!
Within seconds all of the advancing mob monsters had their heads dropped to the ground from the s***h of a sword from the opposing side. True, the one who did that was none other than Rudy.
Even though their status and level are not much different, the combination of Swing, Black Form, Title Skill Modifier, and critical zone attacks are very effective. The damage done by Rudy just now increased drastically to the point of making the enemy die in one hit.
Seeing that several of his comrades were killed in an instant, the gazes of the monsters among the 300 troops immediately fell on Rudy and chased after him.
"To think that you can finish them all at once even though your level and these monsters aren't much different."
"Well, basically that mob monster has high Strength, but not with Vitality, except for certain monsters. Of course, I beat it quickly."
"Heh, as expected of Rudy."
Finishing his speech, Ramsey pulled his right fist to the side taking a stance to hit with all his might. But before that, Rudy asked Kynel to give him one of the strongest area attacks he could give.
Job Class Mage and the like are special Job Classes capable of learning Magic-type skills from magic books or better known as Grimoire. Only Job Classes like Mage can get Magic-type skills without having to use Skill Emblems. Of course, the type of Grimoire used must be the same as the element they choose.
"Kynel, give them a big welcome."
"Al-Alright! Terra Twig!"
Mounds of dirt spread from Kynel's direction towards the dozens of monsters that were here. A moment later a giant spiky mound of earth emerged from the ground destroying the enemy formation.
"Good! This time it's my turn, right!? Blow Shoot!"
Realizing Kynel's great move, Ramsey didn't want to lose so he threw one of his long-range skills, namely Blow Shoot. One of Ramsey's attacks shattered an army of mob monsters that wanted to attack them.
As a result, the attention of the entire monster army was successfully seized by the three and immediately prepared to face the three 'flies' that interfered with their attack on Livetuna City. On the third side, the 'fly' itself was ready for the onslaught of the several hundred monsters here.
And the battle began.
