Chapter 37 - Vigor Potion

After the strategy meeting between party leaders, Rudy started walking back to the place where Kynel rested to tell his new friend the results of the strategy meeting. While walking he can only scratch his head looking confused. Actually, Rudy understands the role that he and Kynel have to play when they do Raid, but what makes him confused is...

"Why are we being put in the back row? At least the two of us can help out on the front lines by being cannon fodder."

That's what Rudy complained about. At first, he thought that he and Kynel would be given the feeder position in the raid later, but it turned out to be far from what he imagined.

Rudy thinks that those who are suitable to stand in the feeder position are strong players in small numbers. Even though he said that compared to other players who took part in this Raid Rudy and Kynel weren't that strong, especially Kynel who was still level 19.

The average player level in this Raid was level 35 and above and the party leaders were in the 50s on average. Rudy, who was still in his 30s, felt a little pressured inside so he didn't dare to express his opinion.

Even though Rudy doesn't really care about how other people treat him when he hears his opinion, he is still thinking about the fate of Kynel who will fight alone in the backline. No matter how strong Rudy is now, he can't win against dozens of level 50 players.

In Axie Online, parties have a maximum member limit, which is ten players per party. From the results of the strategy meeting that Rudy participated in, there were about eight parties that would face the onslaught of monsters that would attack the front lines.

Let's just say that all these parties have a maximum number of members, what would happen if Rudy and Kynel were at the forefront? Yes, not only were they useless, but they could also hinder the cooperation of players from other parties due to a lack of strength, ability, and numbers.

Given that the average level of players participating in this Raid is around 35 and above, even Rudy will find it difficult to adapt to their teamwork.

Rudy read the Potion's explanation carefully and by the time he read it, his breath caught a little. It turns out that this Potion is a very valuable item compared to Health Potion I.

Vigor Potion, a Potion whose effect can relieve fatigue on NPCs, players, and monsters. Depending on the level of the Potion, Vigor Potion is divided into three types, such as Health Potion, Vigor Potion 1, Vigor Potion II, and Vigor Potion III. However, the Vigor Potion was slightly different from the Health Potion.

If the Health Potion restores one's Health Bar by a number limit, the Vigor Potion can instantly restore the player's fatigue using the percentage limit regardless of how many fatigue points need to be recovered. Even though fatigue doesn't have a point, just think of the explanation as such.

Currently, Rudy is looking at Vigor Potion I and Vigor Potion II which can restore fatigue by 30% and 50%. Rudy who previously thought that fatigue couldn't be recovered other than resting now looked surprised.

If Rudy used the Vigor Potion to cover his lack of stamina in battle, the experience gained with the Buff effect on the Blackstar sword could be even more effective. In addition, the longer the fight, the stronger he is.

"Vigor Potion 1, huh? It's... expensive!!"

Rudy was a little surprised when he saw the price displayed by the seller for Vigor Potion I and Vigor Potion Il per bottle. For Vigor Potion 1, the seller sets a price of 500 Byl, while the Vigor Potion II is set at 1,000 Byl. Isn't that too expensive?

His eyes widened when he saw the prices set for Vigor Potion I and Vigor Potion II. Even though he knew that this Potion was indeed more valuable than Health Potion I, but there shouldn't be a difference to this extent, right?

There it was written that in order to make a Vigor Potion one had to have an Alchemy skill of at least level 2-1. Meanwhile, Rudy had just leveled up his Alchemy to 1-2 a while back and even then it required a lot of materials and made at least 1,000 bottles of Health Potion I and several hundred bottles of other Potions to level up.

Rudy couldn't imagine how hard it was for the Alchemist players to reach level 2-1.

"Alright, just in case I'll buy this Vigor Potion I and this Vigor Potion II."

In the end, Rudy bought five bottles of Vigor Potion I and two bottles of Vigor Potion Il so he could fight longer. However, he didn't want to rely on this potion as much as possible considering that one bottle was even more expensive than the previous +4 Iron Sword.
