He's a merman!

Keith POV: Morning came and I felt a lot

better than yesterday. I got my phone out

and texted Lance.

Keith: Hey Lance can ya fill in my shift

for the lifeguard duties at the

beach today? I can't go because

I'm still a little dizzy.

Lance:Hey, Keith um... I can't.

Keith:Why?

Lance:Because I have to do chores

and I'm being held captive by

my sisters to be their makeup

project.

Keith:Oh, that must be terrible!

Lance:Well... I don't think it's that bad...

Anyways. Don't tell anyone.

And it sounds like you're doing

better.

Keith:Yeah, my head is still a little

dizzy, but I keep having weird

dreams about Voltron.

Lance:Can you tell me about your

dreams later? Because my

sisters came into the room

and started to get down on

both knees and started to

break in tears. I think the

The crying part is fake.

Keith:Yeah, see ya later. Are ya sure

you're a boy?

Lance:Ha ha ha. Very funny.

Now that was funny. Lance with makeup

stuff. So funny!

An hour later

Lance forgot his sister's purple makeup

so I got lunch, got ready, and started to

head to Lance's house.

Lance's POV: That was close! Keith asked

me to take over his shift of lifeguard duties.

I had to come up with a plan to lie about why I

couldn't come. Hunk came and he had a

stopwatch and break my record of

breathing underwater for more than a day.

I tried to tell him I can stay underwater

for more than three days. He didn't believe me.

Since I'm a merman it's hard not trying to

touch the water in public because when I touch

water after 10 seconds I instantly turn into

a tuna. Also, it is very difficult for me

to be the only merman in the family. My

mom is a mermaid, and I'm the only one

who inherited a tail and has powers. While

my other two sisters inherited only powers

and they don't inherit a tail. And my other

two brothers got nothing, they're worthless

to the family. kidding! But they do mean

everything to me and my family.

Hunk:"Come on Lance! It's been an hour

and a half! How can ya stay in that long?!"

Lance:"I told ya that I've stayed under

water more than three days!"

Hunk:"I still don't believe ya."

Lance:"Fine! I'll stay in the water for a

week and see if ya believe me or not.

Also, you have to stay here."

Hunk:"Are you sure you don't want to

tell Keith that you're a merman?"

Lance:"Yes, my dad doesn't trust

anyone, and I don't know if Keith

would keep quiet."

Hunk:"I feel guilty for not telling

Keith the truth."

Lance:"It's fine! Trust me. Keith

won't find out."

Keith POV: As I got to Lance's house I

asked Lance's older sister to see where he

was, and she answered that he was outside.

I went outside and saw Hunk by the pool,

but Lance is inside the pool. As I got to

where I could see him. There was a tent a

few inches from the pool, Hunk's legs inside

the tent and his chest outside the tent next

to the pool, and I saw Lance. HE'S A FISH!!!

Keith:"Lance? Where are ya?"

Hunk:"Oh, no! Lance! Hide!"

Lance tried to hide by making himself

invisible! How!?

Lance:"Keith, I can explain! I uh...

forget it."

He made himself not invisible.

Keith:"Lance?..."

Lance:"I... Hey! Keith! What are ya doing

here?"

Keith:"What?! How?! Are ya?! How?!"

Lance:"I can explain!"

Keith:"Explain to me why didn't ya

tell me that you're a fish!!!"

Lance:"My dad doesn't trust anyone

but Hunk because he proved to himself

that he could keep my secret. And I

didn't think you keep quiet."

Keith:"Lance! Of course, I will keep

quiet! Who told ya that I can't keep

quiet?!"

Lance:"Well... Shiro told me that your

not good at keeping secrets..."

Keith:"That was when I was 13!

I kept something quiet for ya!"

Lance:"Like what?"

Keith:"About you being your sister's

makeup project! And you liked it!"

Lance:"DUDE!"

Hunk:"And you liked it?"

(While not trying to laugh)

Lance:"Maybe..."

Keith:"Come on Lance! I..."

All of the sudden my head was getting

even dizzier and I fainted.

Lance:"Keith! Keith?!"

Hunk:"What's happening to him?"

Lance:"I don't know but we need to

take him inside now!"

Keith's dream

I was in the cave that appeared out

of nowhere. And I'm standing right

by the carving on the wall. I touched

it and I fell somewhere. I fell into the

water, and before I went unconscious

I saw someone. And it was a mermaid!

She had beautiful wet brown hair,

beautiful golden brown eyes, and

she had beautiful light skin. And then

everything went black and I woke up.

Lance POV.

Lance:"Keith! Wake up, mate!"

(While smacking Keith across the face)

Hunk:"Is he dead or something?!"

Keith:"No."

Hunk:"Keith! What happened?!

why did ya faint?!"

Keith:"I... I don't know. I had this

dream about Voltron island again."

Lance:"Something isn't right.

You never had this type of condition

when we were kids and scared the

puke out of Hunk last time."

Hunk:"DUDE!"

Lance:"Anyways. Do ya remember

anything that happened before ya

fainted?"

Keith:"No."

Lance:"Well... I want to show ya

something. You probably will be

freaking out and get mad at me

when ya see me in the water."

Keith:"Okay..."

I took Keith outside and show him my

secret. He had a shocked look.

Keith:"Lance? Are you a..."

Lance:"A fish? Yeah."

Keith:"Why didn't ya tell me?"

I'm so surprised Keith handled this better

then last time.

Lance:"I didn't know if you'll keep

quiet and my dad is trying to protect

me. My life would be in danger if

anyone saw me like this."

Keith:"Lance, I would never tell

anyone your secret that could

ruin your life."

Lance:"Thank you, Keith."

Keith:"I need to get back home

and get to bed. I'm starting to

get lightheaded again."

Hunk:"I'll drive the boat."

Lance:"Let's go."

Keith fell asleep in the boat while getting

him back to his house.

Keith POV.

Hunk:"Kieth. Wake up, Keith."

(Gently shaking him awake)

Keith:"Coming."

Hunk woke me up and as I started to

get out of the boat, and I slipped into the

water!

Keith:"HELP! I CAN'T SWIM!"

All of a sudden I turned into a merman!

Lance:"KEITH! What?! How are ya

a merman?! Nobody in your family

is a mermaid or merman!"

Keith:"WHO CARES?! I'M A FISH!

GET ME OUT OF THE WATER LANCE!!!"

Lance got into the water and helped me

get to shore.

Hunk:"We can't let Shiro see ya like

this!"

Keith:"Ya think?!"

Pidge POV: We watched those land boys get

out of the boat. And Mullet's head fell into

the water, and he turned into a Merman!!!

Pidge:"How could this be?!"

And we saw pointy chin get mullet and

then he turned into a Merman too!!!

Allura:"What in the world?!"

Romelle:"He didn't fall into the moon

pool at a full moon! Heck, he didn't even

fall in it!"

Allura:"Let's go to land and go to

mullets box."

We went on land and went into the front

of the box. This land boy answered the

thing that opens and closes. (Door)

Shiro:"Yes? How can I help you

ladies?"

Allura:"I need to talk to your mullet

friend."

Shiro:"Keith? Sure, come in ladies."

This land boy let us in and he showed us

where mullet is.

Shiro:"He is in his house over there."

Pidge:"Thank you um..."

Shiro:"Oh, my name is Takahashi,

But you ladies can call me Shiro."

Pidge:"Thank you, Shiro."

Shiro:"No problem ladies!"

We started to walk to Keith's box which

is called house. And we went in front of the

thing that opens. One of them opened the

thing and started to ask us questions.

Hunk:"Who are you, ladies?"

Allura:"We need to see Keith and

pointy chin."

Lance:"Pointy chin?!"

Romelle:"We need to talk to them

alone."

Hunk:"Why?"

Allura:"It's important. And you have

nothing to do what we're gonna talk

to them about."

Hunk:"Alright! I'll ask Keith and Lance

that pointy chin over there if ya can

come in."

(while quoting the part pointy chin)

Keith:"It's fine Hunk. They can

come in."

Lance:"Do I have a pointy

chin???"

Keith:"Yeah, yes you do."

We started to walk inside.

Lance:"So... are you ladies single?"

Keith:"SHUT UP LANCE! What do ya

girls need?"

Pidge:"We need to ask you two

a few questions."
