Raina may have taken it a little too far. The mark on her shoulder ached. The dark dangerous gleam in his eyes reminded her of how her Alpha was indeed a ruthless predator and she was his insolent prey that refused to follow his lead and broke all his rules.
His kiss was punishing, a clash of his tongue, mouth, and teeth bruising her skin. She knew she deserved the roughness. Was it sick she craved his aggression? Was it wrong that provoking this side of him was making her body react the way it was?
When he was so close to losing control, he was beautiful, savage, and wild. She loved when his wolf was so close to surface to best kept at bay, because the human side and wolf side meshed as one. Both man and wolf wanted the same exact thing and that in itself was so raw and authentic.
