THIRTY-SEVEN Tony returned to the precinct while Tooms attempted to locate the picture. Tooms had gone to the judge's chambers first as that was the closest and, for all purposes, more secure: if you're going to hide something important, you want it to be safe. He stepped off the elevator to find the room alive with activity – something was wrong. The detective looked around and finally spotted Lloyd at his desk, using the phone. He waded through the crowds of uniforms and detectives as he headed over. He drew in close to speak over the noise but was stopped by Lloyd placing a finger to his lips to silence him.
