Dylan's pov I instructed her to get into the car which she did and drive back to the warehouse. She didn't even let me park the car well when she jumped out rushing inside throwing all caution and warning to the wind. “Quinn” I yelled out her name, rushing after her. “Heaven knows if she ruins my plan, I am going to kill her myself” I muttered angrily, folding my fist into a tight ball while I rushed into the warehouse. The place looked like where a drug cartel had fights with dead bodies on the floor, claws clashing and bullets flying around as if it's some kind of a christmas gift. I rushed through the warehouse, dodging bullets and leaping over bodies. I could see Quinn in the distance, her eyes fixed on something across the room. I followed her gaze, and my heart sank. Alex was standing in the center of the room, his eyes locked on Quinn. He was surrounded by Kiara's men, but he didn't seem to notice. He was completely focused on Quinn, and I could see the desperation in his eyes. I knew I had to act fast. I pushed my way through the crowd, using my elbows to clear a path. I could hear the sound of gunfire and snarling, but I didn't look back. I kept my eyes fixed on Quinn, determined to reach her before it was too late. As I approached, I could see that Quinn was frozen in place, her eyes locked on Alex. She seemed to be in a trance, and I knew I had to snap her out of it. I grabbed her arm, spinning her around to face me. "Quinn, listen to me," I shouted over the din of the battle. "We have to get out of here, now." But Quinn just shook her head, her eyes still fixed on Alex. "I have to help him," she said, her voice barely audible over the gunfire. I knew I had to think fast. I looked around the room, taking in the chaos. I spotted Kiara standing on the sidelines, a smug look on her face. I knew I had to take her down if I wanted to get Quinn out of there alive. "Quinn, trust me," I shouted, grabbing her arm again. "We have to get out of here, now. We'll come back for Alex, I promise." But Quinn just shook her head again, her eyes still fixed on Alex. I knew I was running out of time. I had to think of something, and fast, or risk losing Quinn forever. I was still on trying to get Quinn to safety when I felt something struck me hard at the back of my head. The pain was so excruciating that I felt all my senses slip before my eyes, my whole life flashes before me. I turned my head to face the person who hit me only to see a muscular giant man who looked twice my size. “Dude, do you freaking know who I am?” I asked angrily, transforming into my alpha wolf. As I transformed into my alpha wolf, the giant man's eyes widened in surprise, but he didn't back down. He cracked his knuckles, a sly grin spreading across his face. "Oh, I know exactly who you are," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "You're the little pup who's been causing all the trouble." With a fierce growl, I launched myself at the giant man, my claws swiping through the air. He dodged my attack with ease, his massive fists swinging towards me. I ducked just in time, avoiding the blow by mere inches. The giant man's attack sent him stumbling forward, and I took advantage of the momentary distraction. I leapt onto his back, my jaws snapping shut around his neck. He howled in pain as my teeth sank deep into his flesh. But the giant man was far from defeated. With a Herculean effort, he shrugged me off his back, sending me flying across the room. I crashed into a stack of crates, the wooden slats splintering beneath my weight. As I struggled to extricate myself from the wreckage, the giant man charged towards me, his massive fists swinging. I raised my paws to defend myself, but he was too powerful. His blows rained down on me, each one landing with a sickening crunch. I felt my bones cracking beneath the onslaught, my vision blurring as the pain became almost unbearable. But I refused to give up. With a snarl, I launched myself at the giant man, my jaws wide open. This time, I managed to sink my teeth deep into his arm, and he howled in agony as I tore through his flesh. The giant man stumbled backwards, his eyes wide with shock and pain. As he fell to the ground, I stood over him, my chest heaving with exhaustion. I was covered in blood, my fur matted and tangled. But I had won. The giant man lay at my paws, defeated. “Any last word of prayer before you join your ancestor? I asked, dipping my claws into his eyes, popping it out as he wailed in pain. I snapped his head off angrily, my body drenched in our blood. I turned around looking for Quinn when I saw her fling Kiara across the room. “Where did she get that power?” I asked myself, seeing how she snaps off a man's head off his body. Her eyes glow red, she didn't fully transform but the aura emanating from her body screams danger. “Quinn watch your back” I yelled out. With a swift move from her, she collected the knife from the man's hand and stabbed him hard on the neck and stomach. “Wow that's gruesome” I commented, fighting off some of the guys. I was worried about her survival but guess i underestimated her. The kycan really did some transformation on her. We had everyone cuffed and being dragged to the car prepared by the kycan when we heard gunshots.
