Luci understood right this very minute that they all knew she was more than entitled to have the position of the actual Alpha, not just the heir. That she could take the seat for herself at any time, simply going downstairs and making Orien and her mother bow down to her out there in front of the pack, would do it.
There wouldn’t even need to be a fight over it, no Alpha to Alpha Duel would be needed. If she could make them submit to her, and bow down with just her aura, outside in front of the entire pack. She would be considered the strongest wolf in the pack, and therefore the best choice for its leadership. She could step up and take over as Alpha to this pack and no one would go against it.
