Episode 10: Unpredicted Endowment

Daisy: Commencement, a beginning or start but it has two possible destinations. First is, the direction can be good but the second is, the destiny can be dark. Nevertheless, if the commencement is coming from an injustice one and wickedness, that would surely lead to darkness.

Those were Daisy's words running on her mind as she gazed into the dark area where Escor Corp's video presentation will be played.

Others are bored and wondered why it took so long to start as they are only seeing darkness in the monitor. But for a moment, the event's video presentation started playing.

The event's program name is "The Unforgettable Commencement"

The video content is about the company's history of how it started being led by owner and CEO Arjun Escordia.

At the first Anniversary of Escor Corp, it donated a large amount to a charitable organization. The following anniversary, two charitable organizations received a donation. And this 3rd Anniversary, three charitable organizations will be receiving a donation again. This is Arjun's strategy to attract new investors.

But what people didn't know was that the money which used to establish Escor Corp came from an evil mafia in the country called SCORPIA.

After the event's video presentation, everyone cheered and the applause grew louder as Arjun Escordia stepped onto the stage and approached the desk where the microphone is.

He put his phone down on the desk and started talking.

Arjun: First of all, let me on behalf of the board send you the sincerest thanks. On the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of Escor Corp, I want to spend time recalling the past two years when I started my own business and seek for investors and shareholders. My biggest feeling is: enthusiasm and dream are the greatest investment.

He got a notification from his phone receiving an email from an Unknown User saying "Open the Attachment".

He opened it while speaking in his memorized speech.

Arjun: Standing in front of you, I am deeply touched, remembering the time when I decided to give up my position as a CEO-

He paused in his speech and thought deeply as he read the contents of the attachment. The words written on the attachment are "WELCOME to the DARKSIDE of INNOCENCE". It's the same words from the greeting card Lydia received which caused an unexpected scandal and embarrassment during her event.

Daisy is sure when she saw Arjun's facial reaction that he had already read Loward's email. It was Loward who sent an email to Arjun, an order coming from Daisy.

Arjun: I'm sorry about that.

Arjun apologized to his guests for the delay.

Arjun: You know that our company struggled just to be on top. We tried but we failed. However, despite these challenges, we never gave up. People are clapping again.

Arjun's secretary immediately sent an email regarding a donation worth 100 Million Pesos to three prioritized charitable organizations: The Foundation of San Ildefonso's Bombing Victims, The Battle Against Cancer Support Foundation, and Light from Darkness an anti-s****l assault foundation. These three foundations received an email containing a notarized document as proof that they will receive 100 Million Pesos from Escor Corp on Monday effectively.

The three charitable organizations are very happy and couldn't believe the email they received.

Representative from FSIBV: Jesus! It's real, I received an email, look!

He showed that email in his adjacent tables.

Representative from BACSF: Escor Corp is an angel sent from above.

Representative from LFD: We can't thank you enough Escor Corp for your kindness.

In fact, everyone is thrilled with the generosity and support of Escor Corp in three foundations.

The event is being broadcast live on Net45's News Channel and Christianna Tuazon is the Newscaster.

Veronica: Really?

Veronica was surprised to learn as she knew that only three organizations could receive donations.

Representative from BBC: Absolutely! And this isn't a fake, it looks real.

He presented the notarized document to Veronica.

Veronica: Hail Mary's full of grace it looks legit.

The Representative of the foundation for l***q also received a notarized document via email as well.

Representative from l***q's Right: Thank God! We received too!

As well as the foundation for HIV / AIDS Love and Respect Yourself also received an email from Escor Corp.

Representative from LRY: How generous, I received too!

As well as other foundations and charitable organizations, one by one received an email from Escor Corp regarding the 100 Million Pesos donation.

This also made all the viewers thrilled about Escor Corp's generosity and endowment.

Genesis is relentless in applause and he is sitting next to Daisy on a table.

Gen: Wow! Tito Arjun is the best Donor I've ever met.

Daisy just smiled at him.

Words that run on her mind.

Meanwhile, as Giovanni observing the crowd, he believes that something going on is not right. But when he looked on his right side, he sees a beautiful lady while talking to Genesis next to her. He is observing an angel sent from above. He sees Daisy White. But he also sees Magda Soliman to her when she moves and smiles.

Daisy turns her head to the left, she noticed that Giovanni is looking at her but turned his head immediately somewhere and then left his place.

Daisy felt sadness as she never had a chance to meet and talk Giovanni which was her first intention on why she requested the Catering Services to hire him as one of the Waiters tonight.

Two Shareholders immediately approached Arjun and asked what is going on.

Shareholder 1: Mr. Escordia, what the hell is happening? Is this what you really planned? I thought there were only three foundations that will receive a donation ?!

Arjun: I have no idea but for sure this might be just a glitch or anything but we'll figure it out.

Shareholder 2: You figure it out!

While pointing his finger to Arjun.

Shareholder 2: It was clear from what we have discussed that only three organizations will receive a gift! If those emails they received are valid, I won't think twice to pull out my shares of this company no more no less!

After two Shareholders left, Veronica follows to approach Arjun.

Arjun couldn't believe the wrong distribution going on right now. He is feeling nervous and seemed to be weakening.

Veronica: We need to talk now!

The two went to the private room to talk about what is happening. Daisy noticed this, so she didn't hesitate to follow them.

Veronica: I don't know what's going on but make sure that Lord Mafius' money or our money won't be affected by this!

Veronica is referring to Scorpia's money on Arjun's account or system.

Arjun: I will make it sure however, my system doesn't work!

Veronica: This is what I'm telling you!

Arjun: What? About Daisy White again?

Daisy had not yet opened the door to that room where the two are talking but she heard her name mentioned by Arjun.

Veronica: Without a doubt! I am confident that Daisy White is behind this! This will lead your company to bankruptcy and it's all because of her!

Daisy immediately entered the room.

Daisy: That's a serious accusation, Queen Veronica! Accusing me behind this wrongful distribution through verbal and without proof won't save you if I file a defamation lawsuit against you!

Daisy sighed while in front of Veronica.

Daisy: I never thought that you are a Bankruptcy Analyst. I am dismayed by the doubts and fears expressed to me.

Daisy was about to leave but returned when she forgets something to tell Veronica.

Daisy: Also, please allow me to refrain myself from calling you Queen Veronica as you don't deserve it anymore. I think, addressing you just Veronica is enough. Goodbye Veronica and see you tomorrow Arjun, you owe me an explanation regarding this matter.

To her dismay, she left.

Veronica remains silent and couldn't answer what Daisy had said to her.

She took a deep breath and said this;

Veronica: Fix this Arjun and I need an update after the sunrise!

Veronica left the room too.

After the event, Giovanni arrived home, feeling tired and feeling wondered about what happened earlier.

Mother Remedios immediately approached him.

Remedios: Vanni, my son, I just watched the news earlier about the event and I even saw you on TV and you were so handsome.

Giovanni: Thanks, Mom.

Dalena entered the conversation.

Dalena: Was it for a real brother?

Giovanni: Real what?

Dalena: I can't believe all foundations invited at the event will receive 100 Million Pesos!

Remedios: What else do you expect? Escor Corp is the richest company in San Ildefonso!

Meanwhile, Loward is currently watching the news about a Business Analyst being interviewed regarding what had happened in the 3rd Anniversary of Escor Corp.

News Anchor: Sir, you have watched the news earlier regarding an endowment during the 3rd Anniversary of Escor Corp. Now, my question is, as a Business Analyst, what is your discernment of that donation to all foundations invited at the event?

Business Analyst: That idea or strategy was very common yet an effective way to get more investors but that will apply for a single endowment only. Then Loward saw Daisy just entered the house while smiling and he immediately gave her a huge clap.

Loward: Ahm, unsatisfied for me.

Daisy: What a standard huh!?

Loward: Yeah, because all foundations and charitable organizations will receive a donation worth 100 Million Pesos except one, my own foundation.

Daisy: I can give 200 Million pesos to your foundation if you want.

Loward: I was just kidding but that was magical huh!

Daisy: Literally! That's the purpose of my Disney Princess aura tonight!

Loward: And my question is, what is next to Arjun's company?

Daisy: Probably, a bankruptcy or a closure.

In the mansion of Salvatierra, when Veronica arrived home and entered her room, Ronaldo immediately asked her about what happened in the event.

Ronaldo: Veronica, I saw the news, can you tell me what happened?

That was also her way to stop Dolores' ambition to run as a Governor for the upcoming election, so Dolores won't be more powerful and influential than her.

That was Veronica's revenge to Dolores when she found out that Dolores was the real mistress 3 years ago and not the poor Magda Soliman.

Still, no feeling of regrets for what she did to Magda during that time even the convicted girl was innocent on all sides.

But what Veronica doesn't know that the s****l photos of Dolores and Philip were coming from Daisy. All she knows that the materials were used against Dolores was came from Jerome.

Daisy: Revenge is like a ghost, you won't see it but you will feel it in your bones. It's like an evil spirit that will drag you under. It's like a devil's eagerness to make you suffer.

Daisy remembered how she hijacked Arjun's device, browsers, and tools on his system while she was at the office. Daisy is an expert in doing this but Loward is more expert to avoid and left no traces.

At this time, Arjun was able to access his system now and he found out that his system was hacked and hijacked. Someone monitored his device and all of his important information was stolen and compromised.

Meanwhile, Veronica is still drinking her wine and secretly watching and observing Daisy and she saw that the lady is burning something and she can't stop thinking what is it. With her doubts and annoyances to Daisy, she just entered back to her room.

Daisy: Another thing is, to revenge is to drain your device's system but no device charger to use. Consequently, the system will be empty forever and ever.

These are the words circling on her mind after she torched Arjun's photo and now turned to ashes.

Now, what will happen to Arjun's struggling company from the unexpected endowment? Is Christianna Tuazon the next SCORPIA member to devastate her reputation as a newscaster of Net45? Due to this incident, someone will die!!!???!!!
