Episode 2: Secret Mafia

Many people attended and they are not just ordinary people. Most of them are recognized personalities of San Ildefonso City. The visitors are mostly Politicians, Economists, Businessmen, and more.

These included some members of a secret terrorist organization in El Montego. They are called SCORPIA which is derived from an arachnid scorpion. The SCORPIA has eleven members and all of them are powerful. That includes Dolores Chua; The most influential and admired personality in town.

This secret Philippine Mafia which is called SCORPIA is very dangerous. Their connections and protections are very wide. Killing is their industry, their personal interests both economical and political are horrifying, their illegal businesses are just an extra income, their crimes are what they live for and to become the most powerful Mafia is what they aim for. Their existence is sacred and at the same time, bloody. Don't you dare to expose them or you'll regret why were you born. Don't you try to deceive anyone of them or you'll face death.

Philippines is becoming a Mafia state. Side by side crimes such as drug trafficking, human trafficking, p**********n, money laundering, controlling the media, and government are signs of Mafia's presence in the country.

On the other side wall, aside from SCORPIA, another secret Mafia is developing. Merging is possible but competition is quite interesting.

But there's a one girl named Daisy White and will do whatever it takes to destroy them.

SCORPIA is led by the code name Lord Mafius. He is a Filipino-Italian with many businesses in the Philippines both legal and illegal. As a leader, he is only visible when the group has an agenda for another terrorist activity.

This is followed by Ronaldo Salvatierra who is the current Mayor of San Ildefonso and his wife Veronica Salvatierra.

The group also includes the best-known Lawyer to run as Senator in the next national election, Atty. Fritz Ruiz.

And another Lawyer who is Atty. Emmanuel Cruz who handled in Magda Soliman's case. But as a SCORPIA member, he betrayed his client.

It also includes Doctor Lucia Yo, a half Filipino and half Chinese. The owner of an expensive San Ildefonso Medical Center.

Another member of the group who is also present at the event; The San Ildefonso City Police Chief, Colonel Rogelio Bautista.

As the group gathered together, Councilor Philip Dy and his wife came to the scene.

Philip: Mayor Ronaldo Salvatierra and Veronica Salvatierra, I'm so glad you attended our simple event.

Veronica: Well, for what else? Dolores is my best friend. We're always there to support each other.

Ronaldo: If it wasn't for his late father who convinced me to enter politics, I wouldn't make time for this simple event.

Everyone laughed.

Col. Bautista: Also, let's give Dolores a chance. In fact, our attendance would be a huge tribute to her father.

Dr. Yo: My late father once told me that the former Governor Benedict Chua was into public displays. No wonder, Dolores tore it up. So look, the displays are really good here. This is the most beautiful art gallery I've ever seen.

Philip: Just like Dolores' beauty.

Lorena's face twisted as she heard what her husband had said.

Lorena: Excuse me, you might forget that I'm your wife and I'm better than Dolores.

Veronica looks at Lorena's face as she knows something about Philip and Dolores's secret relationship.

Atty. Ruiz: By the way, Philip, do you have a buyer of your extra house already?

Philip: Yes! And I invited her here.

Meanwhile, Atty. Emmanuel Cruz is quiet all along and busy on his phone. He received Daisy White's SMS that had just arrived at the event.

Veronica has recently noticed some of Atty. Cruz's actions and she immediately whispered Col. Bautista.

Veronica: Colonel, I want you to investigate Atty. Cruz. I'm not happy anymore with his actions. I know that there's something suspicious about him.

Col. Bautista: Atty. Cruz!

Atty. Cruz turned his attention to his fellow members.

Atty. Cruz: I'm sorry, I'm just talking to my daughter to stay at home.

However, Veronica recently saw Atty. Cruz's daughter who is busy flirting with someone else at the event.

Veronica: How come Atty. Cruz that you are talking to your daughter at home? I see Elisa now and she's busy with a r****t businessman near the Chocolate fountain. It looks like you were not informed that she was invited here!

Atty. Cruz: Seriously?

And he saw his daughter with a businessman who was once charged with r**e and child abuse.

Atty. Cruz: Excuse me for a while.

Atty. Cruz left his group and approached his daughter to stay away from the criminal.

While Veronica is thinking of something about Atty. Cruz,

Veronica: I smell a snake shedding its skin. Col. Bautista, I think, your duty is not yet done today.

This means that Veronica would like to have Col. Bautista to investigate Atty. Cruz about his unique behavior and actions.

Atty. Ruiz: I'm sure that it's easy for Col. Bautista. By the way, Councilor Philip Dy, where's your sure buyer?

Philip: She said she's already here.

Philip immediately saw Daisy White entering from the entrance door. She is wearing a beautiful white gown, expensive jewelry, curly blonde hair with a sophisticated look. A beautiful young lady who looks like European but pure Filipina.

Philip: There she is!

Daisy saw Philip's waving at her. And she also saw Philip's companion and these are members of SCORPIA; the MAFIA she would like to vanish in the world.

All the members of SCORPIA are looking at Daisy White. They were all amazed at how beautiful a woman in front of them. Except for Veronica who went from head to toe to scan Daisy White. Little did they know that this woman in front of them is going to destroy their group.

Philip: Ladies & Gentlemen, I would like to introduce to you, your new neighbor in town. Her name is Daisy White.

Atty. Ruiz: Daisy White! Such a wonderful name and a beautiful lady in front of us. A perfect personification of purity and innocence.

Atty. Ruiz kissed Daisy's right hand. Symbol of greetings and respect.

When Daisy saw Atty. Ruiz's face, she remembered that this was the opponent lawyer who humiliated Magda during the trial of her case.

While Mayor Ronaldo Salvatierra seems to have his world stopped rotating when he saw how beautiful, lovely and magnetic Daisy White is.

Ronaldo: It's great connecting with you Miss Daisy White. I'm the Mayor of this town Ronaldo Salvatierra.

Mayor and Daisy shake their hands and at the same time, he looks at Daisy's beautiful smile. He can't explain his feeling. A feeling which is very familiar already. It's the same feeling when he saw Magda for the first time. Love at first sight.

When Daisy saw the Mayor's eyes, she remembers nothing but the heartbreak Magda gave to him. Magda rejected Ronaldo's feeling and confession before due to this man was already committed to Veronica.

Veronica noticed that it took a moment before Ronaldo released Daisy's hand.

Dr. Yo was next to kiss Daisy White's cheeks.

Dr. Yo: Hello, my dear.

Daisy remembered that Dr. Yo presented a drug test result during the trial showing that Magda is positive for Cocaine. Unfortunately, Magda was unable to dispute the false positive drug test result.

While Col. Bautista turned and bowed to Daisy White.

Col. Bautista: Good Evening Miss Daisy White.

Daisy remembered how cruel Magda had been in Colonel's hands while in jail. Magda was r***d and tortured in Colonel's hands.

Daisy: Thank you as in many thanks.

That's what Daisy said with a smile while she was trying to keep her wrath of these people in front of her.

Veronica: It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Daisy White. I'm the Mayor's wife.

Veronica just greeted Daisy White and never shake hands or even kiss her cheeks.

Daisy never expected anything from Veronica because she knows how awful this woman behavior is. So, she ignores what Veronica said to her.

Daisy: It's an honor to meet all of you.

Veronica noticed the look in her husband's eyes on Daisy White. Veronica also felt that this woman is carrying something else.

Philip: And also, tomorrow is the house tour. I'm 101% sure that Daisy would love our house.

Atty. Ruiz: So, Miss Daisy White, of all the beautiful mansions here in San Ildefonso City, why did you choose Councilor Dy's?

Daisy: For someone like me leaving alone, I prefer a Cape Cod House Style.

Philip nodded with a huge smile on his face same with Lorena.

Philip: I assure you Miss Daisy White that you will not regret the house you want to purchase.

Lorena: In addition, it's a classic cape cod home that does beach decor right.

Dr. Yo: I think, a signing contract must be done immediately tonight.

Lorena: For your information Dr. Yo, it's a signed agreement to purchase the house and not a contract one. Daisy White is definitely our sure buyer.

Daisy: Let's see! Anyways, I don't have a high standard when it comes to purchasing a property.

While Daisy is in front of these people behind Magda's misfortune. She can't help herself but shoot these people regardless if it's in public.

As Daisy cannot resist, she took her gun out from her pouch and immediately pointed it in front of the members of SCORPIA.

People at the event were shocked to witness a lady holding a gun.

Daisy: You are all animals! You killed Magda and I can't forgive you all for what you've done to her!

Daisy started shedding tears.

Daisy: You know-how is it more than unfair to take the life of an incorruptible creature!

All the members of SCORPIA were scared and asking forgiveness to Daisy for what they've done to Magda Soliman.

Veronica: Forgive us, Daisy. We did not do it purposely.

Daisy started to shoot Colonel Bautista first on his head. After him, Daisy shoots Dr. Yo and Atty. Ruiz's head too.

People at the event scream and run for fear and only the members of SCORPIA were left inside.

Daisy saw Dolores running for fears too and she immediately shot Dolores's head before she can escape.

Now, only Veronica and Ronaldo are still alive. The two knelt in supplication and begging for mercy not to kill them. But Daisy got left no choice but to shoot their heads too.

However, this was just Daisy White's imagination. And how she wishes that this could just be so easy to kill them all.

Daisy: Forgiveness is the only power I got in the world and I will not give it up.

These are the words running through Daisy's mind while she's in front of SCORPIA members.

Philip: Are you alright Daisy?

Daisy still able to hide her wrath through smiling towards SCORPIA even she's killing them on her mind and eyes.

Daisy: Of course! This gallery for me is wonderful and very educational.

Until Daisy sees Atty. Cruz going to the restroom and she thinks of following him.

Daisy: May I excuse for a while?

Atty. Ruiz: Sure Miss Daisy White it's not a problem.

Daisy: Thank you.

Veronica's gaze followed Daisy's departure and she saw her husband's eyes were still on Daisy White. Something that pissed her off.

Daisy watched over Atty. Cruz until he left the restroom.

Daisy: Atty. Cruz!

Atty. Cruz: D-Daisy White? How may I help you?

Daisy: Atty. Cruz, you told me that you will help me to open Magda's closed case to prove she's innocent from domestic terrorism!

Atty. Cruz: This is not the right place to talk about it and I have to apologize, Miss White, I decided not to open her case especially you didn't have enough evidence.

Daisy: And what's with the sudden change of mind? I have evidence Atty. Cruz.

Atty. Cruz: Then, where is it?

Daisy: It's you! I know that you have to deal with a car explosion to burn the evidence regarding the true terrorist transactions and identity. Why did you betray Magda Soliman as your client?

Atty. Cruz said nothing but left in front of Daisy. Although he wanted to help but he was skeptical, especially some members of Scorpia now suspect him.

Daisy: Atty. Cruz!

Daisy wonders why Atty. Cruz's decisions suddenly changed. He has recently been willing to help reopen Magda Soliman's case to prove she's innocent.

Lorena finally saw Daisy and she immediately approached her.

Lorena: Daisy White, I've been looking for you.

Daisy: I'm sorry Lorena, I was just in the restroom-

Lorena: That's fine, let me introduce you to Dolores Chua.

Daisy: Sure!

Dolores, meanwhile is entertaining to her visitors. For a moment, she saw Lorena approaching her with a woman she had never met who is Daisy White.

She immediately turned around and talked to other people because she didn't want to talk to Lorena as Philip Dy's legal wife.

Unfortunately, Dolores' friend said goodbye immediately and Lorena had a chance to talk to her.

Lorena: Dolores, meet Daisy White. The sure buyer of our house.

Dolores: Oh! Hello Daisy White.

Daisy: I've heard more about you Dolores. The most influential person in San Ildefonso City! Congratulations on your event. Also, your Gallery's materials, collections, sculptures, and paintings are great.

Daisy: Wow! That's very interesting! I wish it could be a very impressive craftsmanship.

Dolores immediately left in front of them as she can't be herself talking with them.

Dolores went to backstage and looked at her masterpiece. She removed the wrapped cloth in a large painting or artwork depicting the heroism of his father, Benedict Chua, former Governor of El Montego.

Dolores: Upon showing this to everyone, they'll remember my father's legacy. They will remember how my father served them in El Montego. And the next one, I will follow up on my father's statue to put it outside the City Hall. Philip Dy is the key for me to get Ronaldo back. After that, I'll make sure that I'll be the next Governor of this province.

Those were the words that ran through Dolores' mind as she watched her father's painting.

Dolores: Trisha.

Her secretary approached.

Dolores: Tell them we're about to start. Make sure all cameras are focused on the stage. I'm going to show this masterpiece of mine to express that Chua is coming back soon in politics.

While Daisy is observing Dolores' moves, she recalls how Magda was exposed as Ronaldo's mysterious mistress before and received a lot of powerful slaps from Veronica.

As a consequence, she remembered how she got the photos and videos of Dolores and Councilor Philip Dy when two were having a s****l and forbidden affair in a Beach House of the most famous island in Aklan; Boracay island.

She pretended to be a staff in this resort the day where two have checked in. She wore a short curly wig and eyeglasses with a red blush on cheeks.

When she was serving food for them inside their room, the two were having fun in the Restroom and they don't even care about what she might have thought for them. Before she left, she first looked at the hidden cameras she set up in this room.

Dolores and Philip booked a reservation in this resort two months in advance. Little did they know that Daisy is a silent owner of the resort.

Daisy: Tonight is your downfall, Dolores. I am 101% sure that this will be the bitter night you will never forget. It's a night of shame you will carry on with your life to death. And I'll call it an infinite mortification.

These are Daisy's words playing on her mind. She believes that whatever happens with Dolores tonight, it will be an inescapable shame of her life.
