Episode 7: Deadly Intimidation

Daisy: I always believe that the dangerous man in the world is the humiliated one. That makes the dangerous, even more dangerous. I was once a victim of humiliation done by Veronica and Dolores. Exposing me as the mysterious mistress of Ronaldo is the most embarrassing moment I've ever experienced. That is why I won't let anyone hurt and humiliate my family. Otherwise, I'll show you the world of hell that you've never seen before.

Those were the words on her mind while she was preparing something against Loida with a huge electrical tape and a rope on her table.

During at Night

Giovanni asked Dalena if she could just watch their store in the market this summer.

Vanni: Dalena, can I ask a favor?

Dalena: What is it?

Vanni: If only you could watch our store in the market this summer? I want Mom Remedios to rest first.

Remedios heard Giovanni's plea to Dalena and she disagreed because she really wanted to earn money too.

Remedios: Vanni, you have nothing to worry about me. I'll take care of our store in the market. While Dalena is in charge of this house.

Dalena: Well, Mom disagreed.

Dalena's pretending that she wants to watch their store in the market.

Giovanni: Mom, I don't want Loida to hurt you again.

Remedios: I'm used to it. Though I'm tired of that woman but I can handle her. Besides, whatever they say, I know Magda is innocent. My daughter is innocent.

Dalena didn't like the next thing she heard.

Dalena: That's all Magda's fault!

Giovanni: Dalena, that's not true.

Dalena: Let's not say that's not true. If she did not tease Mayor Salvatierra before, all of this would not have happened.

Remedios: Dalena, what are you saying? Magda is your sister. You or we should be the first to believe that Magda can't do what you say.

Dalena: She was my sister! But, anyway, that Loida? I really don't like her mouth. I have no idea where she's getting her confidence. Her attitude is awful and yet she's ugly.

Remedios: Oh well, let's not talk about that woman anymore. Let's go and eat.

The three of them went to the dining room and prayed before eating.

As Loida is on her way home, she noticed that her house seemed quiet and dark.

When she got inside, she called her children immediately and turned on the light.

Loida: Mark, Shiela, it's dinner time.

When she opened the light, she saw her two children being tied up and crying while their mouths are covered with large electrical tape.

She also saw a woman wearing a white long sleeve gown and wearing an animal lamb mask.

Another scary thing is, this woman is holding a gun and focusing on her.

Loida: Help!-

Daisy: Try to scream for help Loida and I would never hesitate to shoot this gun on your skull as well as on your children's skull!

Daisy is using a voice changer again to keep her real voice. It's a scary voice and it sounds like you don't want to hear it in your entire life.

Loida: W-who are you?

Loida asked while shaking with fear.

Daisy: It doesn't matter who I am, Loida. If you still want to live with your kids, I'll give you a choice to make things right.

Loida: What do you mean?

Daisy: It's simple Loida. I want you to get out of here in San Ildefonso and never return!

Loida: But here's my life! This is where I work for a living!

Daisy: It's not fair to have a job just to humiliate and blame others for something bad that someone else has done. Scapegoating is not a profession nor you won't get a career growth development. I'll give you an investment for your business wherever you go. Now, you have 60 seconds to decide and create a new life. Otherwise, I'll book you a ticket to hell or to the world of humiliation where you belong. Your time starts now.

Daisy set 60 seconds on her timer device to pressure Loida while making a decision. But Daisy is serious that when the time is over, the prey might be killed.

In just 20 seconds, Loida accepted her offer.

Loida: Fine! Don't just kill me with my kids.

Loida begged as she cried in fear.

Daisy slowly approached Loida and pointed the gun she had on Loida's head.

Loida: Don't kill me, please.

Daisy: I'll kill you if you don't follow my order Loida.

Loida: Don't kill me, my children need me. Have mercy on us.

Daisy: That's interesting, you know how to ask for mercy. Have you ever felt sorry for the people you insulted and humiliated?

Loida recalls that just this morning she humiliated and hurt the Soliman family.

Daisy: Answer!

Loida: Yes! Yes! We're leaving here!

Daisy: There's more Loida.

Loida: What else is that?

Daisy: You're going to cut off all your connections with Veronica. Do you understand?!

Loida: Yes! I understand and will do all your requests!

Daisy: Great! That's what you called survival instinct Loida.

Daisy just made sure that this woman would never hurt her family again. She just scared Loida but she has no intention of harming them.

The next day,

Remedios and Giovanni wondered why Loida didn't open her store. Little did they know that Loida was no longer in San Ildefonso City and had moved to another province with her family.

Giovanni: It's funny that Loida won't open today.

Remedios: It's probably better than seeing a cockroach pestering around this market. Let's hope that she won't show up anymore so we can be free from her insults.

Giovanni: Well, she might feel guilty about what she's doing.

The two laughed together.

Two customers came to them to buy their fish products and they took care of it immediately.

Not far from their place, they had no idea that Daisy is watching them. Daisy is happy with what she sees and now her family is free from Loida's humiliation.

Daisy goes straight to the Salvatierra mansion. All she wanted is to see Veronica's facial reaction after finding out that Loida is no longer in San Ildefonso.

Since Daisy is already known in the mansion, the maid immediately allowed her to enter because that's what Genesis and Ronaldo told them to do.

When she entered the mansion, she immediately saw Ronaldo and seemed to be in a hurry to leave.

Ronaldo: Daisy, what a pleasant surprise!

Daisy: Good Morning Mayor. I'm here for Genesis, we just have an agreement and here we will meet.

Ronaldo: Genesis is in his bedroom and definitely asleep. Oh my, sometimes my son is talk s**t. So be understanding and patient with that.

Daisy: That's fine. I'm willing to be patient Mayor. Or maybe have a little chit-chat with Veronica while waiting for Genesis.

Ronaldo: Alright! I have to go and still need the office.

After Ronaldo left, Daisy spun around a little in the mansion. Afterward, she catches sight of Veronica busy with her phone and trying to contact someone while eating her breakfast alone.

Veronica is annoyed because she couldn't contact Loida anymore. This time, she wants Loida to negotiate with the Wet Market Manager to oust the Soliman family.

Veronica: Come on! Answer me!

A maid approached with a porridge or milkfish in sour broth and she put it on the table near Veronica.

Veronica: By the way, where did you buy this fish?

Maid: At the fish market Madam Veronica.

While smiling, the maid replied. But Veronica is angry about it.

Veronica: I'll fire you if you don't answer well!

Maid: I'm sorry Madam, but Loida didn't open her store today Madam Veronica. Other vendors say Loida and her family have left San Ildefonso already.

Veronica wonders why Loida left without telling her the reason.

Veronica: Did they tell you where did she go?

Maid: They don't know Madam Veronica.

Veronica: Then, leave.

Veronica noticed that her Maid is not yet leaving beside her.

Veronica: Did you hear what I say? I said leave!

Maid: Yes Madam!

The maid left the dining room and went straight to the kitchen.

Meanwhile, Daisy was happy to witness Veronica's facial expression about Loida's departure in town.

Upon leaving Veronica's Maid, she also noticed Daisy approaching her.

Veronica: Daisy, take a seat, and have breakfast with me.

Veronica's fakeness to Daisy.

Daisy: Thank you, Veronica, I mean Queen Veronica but I'm fine. Why are you alone today?

Veronica: Well, Ronaldo left early and Genesis is still asleep.

Daisy: I see, I'm just here for him actually.

Veronica: Tell me, Daisy, what status do you have between the two of you?

Veronica asked Daisy while she sipped her hot coffee.

Daisy: We're just friends, Queen Veronica. Why? Are you expecting more?

Veronica laughed slightly.

Veronica: You're interested in my son. Don't you?

Daisy: He's a good friend and I want to know him more.

Veronica: Let me just share a story with you, Daisy, countless of women have already lamented because of Genesis. I don't want you to be one of them.

Daisy: Trust me, Queen Veronica, it might be Genesis the one who'll be crying for my love and attention.

Veronica: Just make sure not to hurt my son or I'll hurt you back. You know as his mother, I'll do everything I can to protect my son.

Daisy: Well, I'm just kidding!

Daisy laughed.

Daisy: No worries, that's not my intention Queen Veronica. Genesis is a really good friend.

Someone suddenly came into the conversation and it was Veronica's private investigator and his name is Steve.

Steve: Good Morning Veronica.

Veronica: Hello Steve.

Daisy secretly stared at Steve's face.

Daisy: Let me just excuse for a while. I'll just go to Gen's room.

Veronica: Sure Daisy.

Veronica first makes sure Daisy is far from them and would never hear their conversation.

Veronica: Have a seat, Steve. How's the investigation about her?

Steve: Based on my investigation, I see nothing suspicious about her.

Veronica: Are you sure about that?

Steve showed her the documents he got about Daisy.

Steve: Daisy White is the daughter of Henry White in San Diego, California. Henry White married a Filipina who has a lot of businesses in our country and her name is Corazon Ty. He married Corazon to expand his business in our country. They both passed away the same year when Daisy turned 20. Now, Daisy White is managing all of her family's businesses and she's here in San Ildefonso to expand it.

Veronica: I can't believe it.

Steve: What's with the investigation about her Veronica?

Veronica: She's interested in all the boys in this house.

Steve: Well, it's you to handle it if it's true. Daisy looks so innocent and decent.

Little did they know that Daisy is just hiding and listening to their conversation. But Veronica doesn't know that Daisy was first able to talk Steve before the investigation order to not tell the truth to Veronica about her.

Last night, after Daisy terrorized Loida, she also met Steve in a place where no one else could see them.

Daisy: What did Veronica ask you?

Steve: She asked me to investigate about your security and personal life.

Daisy: You know the drill! I'll make sure that all my plans won't be ruined by her intervention.

Steve: I will Miss Daisy White.

The next day,

When Daisy went to the mall for shopping, she notices that someone is following her and watching over her actions. No matter where she goes, this person doesn't stop her.

She tried to get out of the mall and went to a park, but the tall man in a black jacket and black cap still followed her.

She went to the most downtown part of the city where there were many people to deceive the man following her.

Unfortunately, whatever she did, he still got it.

So, Daisy picked up her phone and called someone while she was walking even someone was following her.

She is being followed for over an hour. Daisy went to a place where there were only a few people.

Until she entered a street where there was no one but just the two of them left.

But by accident, it was all here that the police arrested the man following Daisy.

Daisy is smiling like a devil while she watches the man following her while the police picking him up.

In the evening,

Daisy returned to her house. When she enters, she feels that someone else in her room even though it's dark and nothing to be seen.

There is a man sitting near Daisy's lamp and bed. He is Loward McKinskey.

When he saw Daisy entered the room, he immediately opened the lamp for Daisy to see who he is.

Loward: Welcome Home! And thank you for putting me into jail!

***Insert - dramatical suspense sound effect. ♬♬♬
