The sunlight streaming onto Tate's face woke her up. As she opened her eyes, she immediately closed them again when the bright light from the terrace struck her. The glass door leading to the terrace was open, allowing fresh air and natural morning sunlight to flow in. She quickly sat up as she realized she was in an unfamiliar room.
She clutched the blanket wrapped around her bare body as the memories of what had happened with Jacob the previous night came rushing back.
