Elena followed Pete into the office closing the door behind them.
She couldn't help but notice the obvious stern look on his face, he tried to avoid her face as much as he could. She wondered what she could have done to get him like this, experience with him taught her that it always seemed to be her fault.
His resolve was so cold that it rubbed off on her, she didn't have the luxury to ask him why he wasn't taking or returning her calls and it pissed her off. The constant swing of emotions left her puzzled.
