Unsuccessful Escape

Things moved in slow motion to Frida as she was led towards the club with Roberto draping over her shoulder. Gale joined them just before they could walk inside. “Keep an eye on her till it's time” Roberto instructed before he walked off. Frida shrugged his hand off after they had walked to the back of the club and was standing just some distance away from the back door. “You know you can't do anything with that s**t messing you up inside right? Roberto wouldn't have left you to me if you weren't this cooked” He said with a low chuckle before he proceeded to roughly pull her along with him. Frida staggered along as she struggled to keep up but the substance they fed her wasn't helping and the dress was too flimsy and light making her worry as it might tear if she struggled with him too much. They walked up a short flight of stairs and Gale turned around to make a call. Frida immediately sensed the opportunity to escape, looking at the opened back door Gale was too distracted to lock and the short flight of stairs. She kicked her heels off and hurried down the stairs at a lightning speed. “s**t! Fuck!” Gale cussed in shock behind her as she managed to get outside. Unknown to either Gale or Roberto, the effect of the drug was wearing off very fast and she was no longer incorrigible as earlier but that wasn't enough for her to escape successfully because Gale immediately called other men to catch her. Frida managed to fight one of the men to the ground, and another got a kick to his jewels. “If she escapes, all of you are as good as dead!” Gale warned as he watched her grapple with him. This time Frida's mind was crystal clear, she stared at him with full hatred. “You are as good as dead too” She spat back at him but he merely chuckled and brought a gun to shoot the man she had kicked in the groin point blank. Frida jerked in shock and her eyes widened in surprise. “If they can fail to defeat one b***h, they are useless”. He announced with a smile on his face and proceeded to point the gun at another one, ready to shoot. “Fine!” Frida yelled and stopped struggling against them. … Back inside the club, Frida refused all attempts to make her look presentable and remained unfazed. Her mind raced with thoughts of what might happen tonight, she knew the chances of an escape again was low and uncertain. Gale stood just a short distance from her with his expression unreadable but his mind was full of frustration. He wouldn't have wasted time on someone like her and wasn't expecting his boss. There are many willing women that would kill to get his attention, to satisfy his s****l fantasy but he is going through difficulties for a lady that shoots guns like him. “Let me go, I will give you whatever you want”. Frida started as she looked at Gale calmly for five minutes. While there are things she cannot give him, she could afford any amount he could ask for. Don Mario won't hesitate to give her a billion dollars to settle him. “What made you think I can let you go or you have anything interesting to offer me?” Gale asked with a chuckle. Frida noticed for the first time that he has a close demeanor to Roberto. “Just name it, money?, property?” She continued to offer different options. “b***h, shut the f**k up. I don't need all that. If I let you go, Roberto won't forgive me. So can you give me your life?” He asked but his phone rang interrupting them. “It's time to go” He announced after a few minutes and dragged her out of the chair. “ If you touch me again, I would make sure to cut all your fingers off for that sin dog”. Frida warned in a low voice while looking straight at him without blinking until he slowly removed his hand from her back. Frida was taken to a room full of men and just a handful of women were around. The strong smell of tobacco and other hard drugs and alcohol hung in the air. Loud music played in the air and some were having s*x in the most unimaginable way. The door closed behind her and every eye turned to look at her. The feeling of disgust climbed up her skin, she has seen a lot of things ever since she started going on missions but it was never directed at her but tonight it's a different case. “Nice! The highlight of tonight's party has arrived!” Roberto's cheerful voice broke the short silence and everywhere erupted again. “Dance for us!” Someone requested. “No, sing me a love song. Mama Mia!” Another person said with a thick Italian accent. “No, she should pole dance. That dress was made for that!” Another feminine voice intercepted making Frida look down at the pathetic remains of the dress she was wearing. And she was sure her face looked just as ruined as the dress. “Can she be mine?” A very calm and sombre voice asked and every eyes turned to look at him. Just at a corner, with no drugs or tobacco and just a glass of red wine that was still half full. Some thought he was drunk and others thought he was dumb. He had been sitting alone since the party began and no one took notice of him. “Of course Martino” Roberto answered to him from across the room and before they both disappeared into another room. Frida's eyes wandered to everyone in the room, her senses were working overtime as she could sense an impending doom but unable to pinpoint it and since her life took a drastic turn recently she has every reason to be scared and wary.
