Chapter2

1053 Words
Amelia walked away from her boyfriend's place, feeling a mix of sadness and anger. Seeing him cheat on her with her best friend had been a painful blow. However, as she reflected on their betrayal, she realized she was better off without them. She taught herself that their toxic presence was no longer needed in her life, and she was ready to move on. “I think here would be a comfortable place for me all alone, I will be having absolutely no disturbance from anyone” Amelia said as she moved inside the bar store. The club was crowded with people, as it would be too difficult to hear or understand anything if one is talking. The sound of the music echoed to her ears, sounding clean and plain. She only had this in mind that she just wanted to be left alone and with nobody, not even any family member. “This is where I can have peace of mind, now I can stay here or alone thinking about my terrible life,” she said, sounding emotional as her voice kept shivering. She sat on an empty stool watching around the surroundings for some moments before she taught off calling out to one of the waiters to attend to her. “Hey, please come,” she said, pointing in the direction of the waiter. “I need some alcoholic drinks, okay” she said as the waiter's face turned black. “What do you mean, I can clearly see that you are a female gender? I don't think it would be good for you to have something good that would make you feel better” the waiter said, trying to make her accept. “And who are you to tell me what to drink, I am here for you to serve me okay, I am the customer here so you wouldn't order anything for me rather I would, so please go get me what I asked for before I report you to your boss” Amelia said sounding harsh and rude. “You don't have to. I was just trying to help you know the kind of order you make, so I really don't see anything wrong in doing that” the waiter said, leaving the room. The argument between Amelia and the waiter was loud, making a stranger beside them hear it. The waiter left to go get the drinks for Amelia, then a young and handsome man came to her seat where she was sitting and sat beside her. “Hey, beautiful, what are you doing in this kind of place? I can see you just came here to chill out,” he said. “Yes I came around to have some drink to myself, is there any problem doing that just because I'm a female” Amelia said. “I really don't see anything wrong with a lady having some good time by drinking. It's perfect that you can stay active all the time. It is unclear to me why others would be so curious about that fact,” the man said. “Then why would all these waiters poach noses in some matters that don't concern them in any way?” She said, sounding bored. “Oh, I can see that's why you were having some exchange or words with him, they can be like this saying what doesn't concern them calling it in the name of promoting their business” she said. “Well, I think you have a point, and really you're a good person,” she said. “Well, I am Dominic Danvers and you because I would love to know you more” he said. Dominic has been a playboy for his life; he never took any relationship seriously. All he need is that one day he was going to inherit something out from the Danvers family. “Wow, well, I am Emily, so do you live around here?” She asked. “No I don't, I just love coming around to fill the want with the music, hearing them sing flown into my ears” “What about you?” “I don't know, I just love coming around to this place,” she said, her eyes closed, letting the music wash over her. "There's something about the rhythm, the beat, that just speaks to me. It's like the notes are dancing in the air, and I can feel them vibrating deep within my soul. When I hear them sing melodiously, it's like my worries have just melted away, and I'm transported to a different world. The melodies flow into my ears like a gentle breeze on a summer day, soothing my heart and calming my mind. Currently, nothing else matters – just the music and me, lost in the beauty of the sound. As the singer's voice rises and falls, I feel my emotions ebbing and flowing with it, like the tides of the ocean. The music is my escape, my sanctuary, my happy place. It's where I come to forget my troubles and find solace in the melodies that fill my heart with joy.” “You can tell me what happened that made you come here because I know that there is no smoke with no fore, so tell me what happened?” Dominic asked. “I don't normally do this because I would rather not talk to anybody. Well, it's my boyfriend, he cheated on me with my Best friend and that's really blowing my mind. I can't even understand anything now. I don't even know what steps to take from here. Furthermore, I was so pained, that's why I came here” Amelia replied. “I'm really sorry about that, okay, but why would a man in his rightful senses try to lose this damsel in front of me?” he said. “I don't know if I just want to forget about them and move on with my love. I don't want any trouble from anybody, so I think it would be so thoughtful of me if I just stay away from them” Amelia said. They both discussed telling each other everything, about themselves, as they came to know each other had drinks together and this time it's over the limit so they got drunk.
