Chapter Fifteen Kathrine spent the rest of the morning shopping for furniture. A good night’s sleep in a real bed had been all the encouragement she needed. She had done without for long enough. She had never been one to be swayed by the whims of interior designers. Kathrine just mixed styles and fabrics based on price and comfort. Even her dinner plates were mismatched. She found what she was looking for in a suburb of LA; a lesser part of town: It was a huge thrift shop located in what had once been a grocery store and she started off with the essentials; a bed.
