As Leonardo accepted Diego's challenge for Sophia, the challenge was more important to Leonardo than it is to Diego. Diego didn't challenge Leonardo because he took his Fiancé then sold her because she was being a "b***h" to him and till this day Diego couldn't find, but Leonardo said that she's dead. Diego didn't want revenge but he took a huge interest in Sophia and wants to make her his belonging and treat her like a queen cause as he can see some bruise on her arms, he knows how much of an asshole Leonardo is.
But for Leonardo, he thought Diego was playing for revenge, but as confident is Leonardo's middle name he very much knew he would win, he thought Cause he did it once he might as well do it again and take Sophia and f**k her to glory.
