When I finally get home after dropping Rain back off with Troy I am exhausted. Alex knocks on my office door,
“What is it Alex?” I ask impatiently, I need to finish this paperwork so I can have a hot shower and go to bed.
“I was just going to ask if you wanted me to finish up. I know you’ve had a long day. I thought I could help,” He says awkwardly.
“You know, that would be really helpful...I don’t think I’m doing much good right now anyways. I’m too tired to focus”
He nods and comes around to my side of the desk and I tell him what still needs to be done before going to have a hot shower. I think about what I’m going to do about this whole mess and I honestly have no idea, maybe it would be better to have Rain by my side after all.
