Hansley rode the long one day trip to the watcher farm and rode his horse around the orchards and field looking for Lilac and finds her tending to her trees. "Good morning Miss Lilac I have a request from his majesty", Lilac looks up at him from underneath her sun hat "Hansley? how are you?!" she smiles "its been a pretty good minute since I have seen you". Hansley climbs off his horse "yes it has three years to be precise, are you well? it looks alright here" he looks around "I am glad his majesty has not been able to touch your fields in all honesty". Lilac nods knowing that Onyx has ruined this kingdom for the commoners and stopped taking provisions from them as well as Lilac's farm. "Do come inside for a little we have food and drink come" she starts walking towards the house and Ethan comes up beside her and notices Hansley back on his horse. Ethan leans down and whispers "Lilac is that the kings advisor?" Lilac nods but shrugs unknowing of what Hansley wants with them. Ethan sits down at the table with Hansley after hitching his horse and Lilac hands him fresh cut apples and milk. "So Hansley what can we do for you? I dont believe we are connected to his majesty anymore". Hansley's face grows grim "I need your help, the kingdom, the commoners need your help miss Lilac its about his majesty". Lilac listens to Hansley about Onyx how after his father grew ill he became colder than he has ever seen his master, that princess Madeline was taking over the castle since Onyx was in to much shock to even function due to his father falling ill, Madeline was taking too much from the commoners leaving them upset believing that their king was harming them and some even began to move away after losing enough money. "Miss Lilac please save him this is not my master he is cold and locked himself away from everyone including me, when he comes out he is harsh to everyone I think he lost his way, no mother no father no love beside him I have tried everything but he wont budge he sits in that room drinking to ease his pain" Hansley looks deep into Lilac's eyes with a pleading look like no other. "What do you want me to do? I am already helping the commoners with food for no pay, assisting those who are leaving with what I can I dont see how I can be of any help". Hansley stands up and takes her hands with tears falling "I need you to come to the castle to talk to Onyx you know he has loved you since he met you please dont forsake him please I need you my master is acting as if he is dead I cannot bear it" Hansley breaks out into sobs and Lilac looks at Ethan with a shocked expression. "How..how do I even get in? to even see him?". Hansley explains he told Madeline he was going to fetch a lady in waiting who was a commoner to assist Madeline and make her seem like she cares for the commoners and prevent a uprising even Hansley was shocked that Madeline liked the idea and agreed to it. That evening as Hansley tried to rest in Lilac's parents room while Lilac talked to Ethan in his room "you will stay here and keep the gun near you, stay safe I shall hope I will be back soon and may God have mercy on me" she kisses Ethans forehead and gets up to leave "Lilac whatever happens know that I love you and I appreciate everything you have done for me" Ethan smiles at her and Lilac nods and smiles at him. The next day on Hansley's horse they ride to the castle, Lilac holds onto Hansley's waist and thinks to herself "Onyx i'm coming for you".
