Hansley rides into the courtyard and helps Lilac off his horse and offers his arm and Lilac takes it and walks up the stairs into the castle. A guard alerts Madeline that her lady in waiting has arrived, Madeline stands up covered in jewels and the finest silk for her dress "very well lets see who this woman is" she follows her guards down to the entrence and looks down at Lilac from the top of the stairs, Lilac curtsies very low and Madeline grins "so you are aware of my power you dont look a day over one six years old very nicely done Hansley" Madeline puts a riding crop to Lilac's face and stares at her intensly "welcome to my court I am empress Madeline you will be useful to me in keeping commoners at ease from what Hansley said, come! time to change your outfit" Lilac looks at Hansley and follows after Madeline and Hansley leaves to go to Onyx's room. The girls enter a huge room and Madeline has a maid dress Lilac up to her standards "you have rather delicate features you will look well in a light pink shade like a little girl" Lilac nods and after being dressed she curtsies for Madeline "thank you milady for your kindness". Madeline smiles in approval of her new girl "I believe you will do well if you continue with this attitude time for fun". The rest of the day Lilac was thrown into card games that always allowed Madeline to win, a terrible long walk which Madeline complained about everything from trees to bugs to servants and to top it off a dinner which she was not allowed to eat but to stand by in case she was needed, Lilac went to her servant quarters and sat down on the bed and sighs "what a awful day I hope Ethan had a better one than me" she lays down after changing and stares up at her ceiling of a dark room with no window and begans thinking about Onyx as she drifts off to sleep. Lilac was waken by a guard who told her where to go and she was ushered quickly down the halls and into a dining room and greeted by Madeline eating her breakfast "it seems you must learn to get up earlier, there will be no food for you today umm whatever your name is" Madeline and her ladies leave and Lilac follows behind in the back of the pack when Hansley comes around the corner and grabs Lilac and pulls her down a different hallway and whispers "tonight I shall take you to see Onyx I will meet you in your room" Lilac nods "Madeline wont let me eat today because I woke up late find me food Hansley please perhaps I can have it later" Hansley sighs and hugs Lilac and leaves as Lilac rushes after her group that surprisingly did not notice her disappearence. Another day spent doing what Madeline liked to do, Lilac watched Madeline hurt one of her ladies in waiting for having a winning hand enough to where the lady was taken to her room due to not being "pretty" from what Madeline said. Lilac returned to her rooms and closed her door and waited for Hansley when she hears a knock on her wall and Hansley enters from a secret door "I brought bread and water not much but something, eat first than I shall take you to his majesty" Lilac scarfs her food down and follows Hansley through secret passages and they enter his majesty's room and Hansley guides Lilac towards Onyx and Lilac gasps seeing Onyx laying on a couch with stubbled facial hair and alochol bottles all around him with a dull expression as he looks off into space. Lilac looks at Hansley uncertain and gets down on her knees next to Onyx "hello Onyx its me Lilac" Onyx stares off into space but slowly moves his hand and takes hold of her hand and squeezes Lilac's hand.
