His majesty was true to his word the next day he came outside in a outfit of Lilac's fathers since he stayed in her parents bedroom. "hello there your majesty you are about three hours late" Lilac crosses her arms and shifts her weight to one hip "we rise early right Ethan?" she smiles at Ethan and Ethan giggles "yes ma'am sir you are late soo your goin to work hard today!" Ethan and Lilac show Onyx how to deal with the livestock and the fields. Afternoon came around and they all sit under a apple tree as Lilac hands out food to them both. Onyx sighs loudly "I have never worked that hard in my life how on earth do you both do this every day". Lilac and Ethan smile at each other "this is our life your majesty this is how we make a living were commoners remember? but we have a better way of making money compared to other people its all honest hard work" Lilac says this and hands him a pastry with fresh milk. "I cannot imagine every single day of your life" he begins to eat "this is really good you made this yourself Lilac?", she nods with a smile "yes and fresh milk from our cows makes a good dessert after lunch". Onyx continues eating and listens to Ethan and Lilac talk about a variety of subjects and thinks to himself "is this what having a family is like?". "Onyx..hello...onyx?" he snaps out of it "huh oh i'm sorry I was thinking. Lilac stands up "well were both back at it you can relax if you want to or go back to the house or your castle, come on Ethan". They both start walking away when Onyx runs after them "I will finish the day with you". All three finish the farm work and go back into the house and Lilac makes dinner for everyone including the coachmen, Onyx watches her cook, do chores and prepare a bath for all three of them and thinks to himself "she can do everything what a amazing woman". Everybody goes their own direction to their room and shortly after Lilac is in her nightgown, onyx knocks on her door. "What do you need? I need to go to sleep" she whispers quietly so she doesnt wake Ethan. "I am leaving in the morning and I wanted to tell you thank you" he leans against the wall and leans down so he is face to face with her "perhaps you could learn about my world sometime we are friends after all yes?". Lilac's heart beats so loud she fears Onyx would hear it "..y..yes I suppose were friends, now good night" she closes her door practically on his face and he smiles brightly and walks back to his room and closes his door "I think she likes me" he puts his hand to his face covering his mouth and his redden face "I think you found a way into my heart again miss Lilac...".
