Addie's POV     I never thought I would be saying goodbye to this place. It's the place that has the best and worst memories but it's also the place we were a family, even if it was only for a few years. The Pack House was an amazing place, always filled with laughter and kids but now it's dead. It's dark and empty waiting on someone to claim it and bring it back to life.     Sighing I shut the front door, locking it and putting all the keys under a fake plant. One of our allied packs have agreed to switch territories with us so we could have a fresh start. It just so happens to be 6,000 miles away from here. So we aren't going to be coming back, not unless we have to.     Dad is being buried with Mom in the Royal Graveyard tonight. If it were up to me I would relocate them but it's not allowed. Once a werewolf is put to rest they have to stay there for eternity. Damn rituals, if it weren't for them Mom and Dad would be coming with us.     I looked up at my Pack members, they were all standing side by side in front of the cars. The females were wearing matching black dresses and the males were wearing matching black tuxes. I however was wearing black jeans, a long sleeved black shirt, the gold chain my dad always wore, and moms old black Adidas that she wore once.     Letting out a low howl they all bowed their heads to me before getting into their cars. My car was in the driveway so I get to wait for the entire pack to leave before I follow after them. The only good news about today is that Lucas and the band don't know what's happening. If they did they would either come back or stop me from doing what's best for the Pack.     'It's the perfect time for a song.' Allison suggested causing me to block her out.     "Why would I want to write a song about the most depressing time of my life?" I mumbled into the wind. -- -- --     "Addison Ramirez, your Father wanted you to say a few words before anyone else."     I slowly stood up and made my way to my Father's casket. Peaking at his happy face before turning towards my Pack. Looking everyone in the eyes I saw they all had the same emotions making this even harder on me.     "I know most of you already know who I am but just in case I will introduce myself. My name is Addison Ramirez, daughter of Paris Hilton-Ramirez and Fin Ramirez. I have been the official Alpha for about three years now. But enough about me, we are here to remember my Father.     For those of you who didn't get the chance to know him personally I am sorry, he really was one of the best people in the World. When his Mate, my Mother, died he didn't want to live anymore but he refused to leave my brother and I behind. He sacrificed his happiness for us because we were too young to protect ourselves. For that I am thankful, he held on long enough to make us successful and caring adults. He helped restore this pack after the War, even though he couldn't repair himself. He is the most selfless person I have or ever will meet. He even stood by my side when I was chasing my dreams, I'm just glad I could help him fulfill his last wish."     I walked over to his casket, lifting his cold hand and placing a rose underneath it. Kissing his hand before putting it down.      "Don't drive Mom too crazy Dad... I love and miss you." I let a tear fall onto his hand as I shut the casket.     After that some of Dad's old friends gave speeches before we placed the casket into the hole. We all threw a rose on top of the casket before letting them cover it with dirt. Once it was buried we all formed a circle around the tomb stone, letting out howls until our throats hurt. -- -- --     "Alpha?" I slowly opened my eyes to see my Beta standing in front of me.     "What is it Tai?" I looked into his honey colored eyes, trying to read him.     Tai is a pretty good looking guy. About 6 foot 4, blonde hair, has an eight pack and pretty good sized biceps. His honey eyes are to die for, especially when the sun hits them, they make me melt.     "We just landed, you don't want to keep the Pack waiting." I groaned, standing up from my uncomfortable sleeping position.     "Lead the way Tai." I yawned, trying to wake up.     As soon as we stepped out of the plane I was greeted by Alpha Damion and his Pack. He is the one we are switching with so we can both have a fresh start.     "Alpha Ramirez, it's a pleasure." He smiled and I nodded yawning once again.     "Sorry, it was a long flight. Nice to see you Alpha Damion, thanks for switching territories with me."     "It's not a problem, I've always wanted to go to America."     "And I have always wanted to go to Australia so it's a win-win." I smiled at him and shook his hand.     "Okay, so the boys you were telling me about. Who are they again?"     "They are my old band-mates. Lucas, Marco, Justin and Sam, they are all guys. Unfortunately I don't want them in my Pack anymore, you can either have them or let them be Rogues."     "What did they do?" He looked at me curiously, probably wondering if I moved because of them.     "Lucas is my half-brother, I gave him many chances and he f****d up all of them. He is a package deal since he's in a band so you need to have the other three too."     "Okay, I'll take them. It's a pleasure doing business with you Alpha Ramirez."     "Pleasure was all mine Alpha Damion." We both bowed to each other before leaving. Marco's POV     'Welcome to the Misfits Pack Lucas, Marco, Sam and Justin.' A voice said in my head causing me to freeze.     'Were we kicked out of our Pack?' Lucas asked causing the voice to laugh.     'Alpha Ramirez has relocated her Pack and asked me to take care of you guys. My name is Alpha Damion.'     I blocked out the mind link, not wanting them to hear me.     "SHE DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME!" I screamed as I punched a wall.     Who doesn't tell their best friend that they are moving? She just kicked me out and expected me to be okay with that? And to think we were close....     'We are, we still want her.' My wolf Corry said.     'Well she doesn't want us... If she did she would have told me.'     "Do you know why Addie did this to us?" Lucas asked, barging into my room.     "IF I KNEW I WOULD HAVE STOPPED HER!!" Corry snapped at Lucas.     "You're pissed enough to let Corry take over?" Lucas asked in complete disbelief.     I looked into his eyes, showing him my pitch black ones as I clenched my jaw. This pain is worse than when I saw that Addie found her mate. I let out a growl which was soon followed by a whimper.     "Calm down Marco, she will be fine. I'm sure there's a good reason." Lucas tried to reason but Corry was not having it.     "She left because of you!" Corry growled, breaking through the barrier I was trying to trap him in.     "You wouldn't grow up! I was forced to leave her because only one of us was allowed to leave! If you would have grown up we could have pushed back the tour a few days!"     "How is this my fault?!" He growled.     "YOU DIDN'T EVEN KNOW FIN WANTED TO COMMIT SUICIDE SINCE HIS MATE DIED! YOU DIDN'T SEE HOW BROKEN SHE WAS WHEN SHE WENT TO TALK TO YOU! YOU DIDN'T SEE HER BEG ME TO STAY WITH HER! YOU DIDN'T SEE ME BREAK WHEN I HAD TO CHOOSE YOU OVER HER!"      Corry let out a deep growl as he punched through the wall. Losing a little control but not enough to hit Lucas. He just stayed silent and waited for me to calm down before he spoke.     "Fin wanted to die?"      "For years... Why do you think she quit the band so suddenly?"     "She said it was because I refuse to grow up."     "It's because Fin wanted to die. He was going to kill himself the day Addie came to talk to you but she stopped him, begged him for just a few more days. Did you not feel the pain of losing him?"     "No." Lucas whispered but I managed to hear it.     "You didn't love him like a father did you Lucas." I said it as a statement because I already knew the answer.     "No..." The f*****g bastard.     I took control back from Corry and stood up, walking over to Lucas. I grabbed his shirt and forced him to stand up before I punched his face. Leaving the room I went to the elevator.      'I want my Princess back.' Corry whined     I pulled out my phone, texting one of my friends. Todd was my best friend in high school and he rehearses with us sometimes. He is the only one that knows my parts for the Tour and he is the one that will be taking my spot. All I want to do is find my girl and make it up to her, f**k the band.     Googling Alpha Damion I found his number and quickly called it. Explaining my situation to him, he wouldn't tell me where she was though. After a little convincing he did tell me what continent to find her on and that was all I needed. Lucas' POV     "How is this my fault?" I asked my wolf while looking in the mirror. My cheek was bruised, thank goddess he didn't hit my eye.     'This is exactly what he was talking about Luke.' Ronny whined, clearly disappointed in me.     "It's not my fault Fin didn't treat me like the adult I am."     'Adult, really? You are a child. Look at yourself, more worried about your face than your dead father and sister.'     "Half sister and dead guardian." I corrected between gritted teeth as I washed my face.     'I'm tired of this Lucas. You should have grown up like everyone has been asking for years. Instead I am stuck inside a useless human that I don't even like.'     "You love me Ronny, quit lying to yourself."     'You know what Lucas. Until you grow up I'm done with you, I refuse to help you with anything. No more extra strength during fights, no extra speed for training, no heightened senses, nothing.' With that said Ronny blocked me out.     What a drama queen, I'm not that bad. And if he wants to be so salty then I will just be alone, I don't need him. I'm an adult and I have strength, speed, intelligence, everything a wolf has. What's up with everyone and always blaming me anyway? I'm amazing, my body is sexy too, not to mention my voice and bass skills. I am like a God, why don't they see it? Addie's POV     'Home sweet home.' Allison said happily as if we didn't just bury our dad five days ago.     "Yeah, home, that's what it's called." I said sadly as I looked at my Pack still sad about Fin.     "Everyone, please come outside. I have an idea." I announced. Everyone nodded and slowly followed me outside.     "Okay, we all obviously need some sort of way to heal and I think I have an idea. I want everyone to go to their room and write down what they miss the most about late Alpha Fin. We will meet in the center of the territory and I want all of you to bring the paper with you.     Ladies, can you please bring the orphans with you when you come? I want everyone to be part of this even if they don't remember him. They know a piece of them is missing they just don't know what it is. So meet me there in two hours."      I watched everyone leave and sighed when I was finally alone. I guess it really is time for a song, I'll make a new one soon too. Music always brings us together so that's what I will do.     'Tai, come here. I am outside still.'     'Yes Alpha.'     "You needed me?" I turned around to look at him, smiling weakly.     "Do you remember the song Dad would always sing with me? The one I did at the talent show my senior year."     "Of course, why?"     "I want to sing it tonight. I can play the guitar and sing my part. Can you sing Dads?"     "Sure. Do you want to rehearse it? I already wrote what I miss about him. We have a little under an hour and a half to kill."     "Yeah, thanks Tai."  -- -- --     "Thanks for joining me guys, it really means a lot. I want tonight to be our final grieving. I want you to bring your papers to me one at a time so I can take a picture of it. After that I want you to put it in the fire pit, once everyone does that we will start a bonfire.      Music always brings us closer, along with food, so I have some on the picnic tables. Once I announce the start of the fire we will all sing a song that reminds us of Alpha Fin. If you know the song someone is singing you can jump in and sing along with them. But for my song, it will just be Tai and I singing. With that said, let's begin."     The elder members were the first ones to give me their papers while the kids ate. Next were the kids while the adults ate, then the adults/teens came to me while the elders ate. I took a total of four thousand pictures and the pile of papers in the pit is massive. After taking some out of the pit so we don't set everything on fire I lit it.     We all sat at the picnic tables, Tai, my Delta Carly, lead Warrior Jackson, and I sat at the table closest to the fire. I looked at Andrew and nodded at him before grabbing my guitar and standing up. We both stood in front of the fire and waited for everyone to quiet down.     "This song is called Butterfly Fly Away, my dad and I wrote it when I was a kid." I cleared my throat and nodded towards Tai before playing the guitar.     Addie: You tucked me in, turned out the light                 Kept me safe and sound at night                 Little girls depend on things like that                Brushed my teeth and combed my hair                Had to drive me everywhere                 You were always there when I looked back                You had to do it all alone                Make a livin', make a home                 Must have been as hard as it could be                And when I couldn't sleep at night                 Scared things wouldn't turn out right                 You would hold my hand and sing to me     Both: Caterpillar in the tree, how you wonder who you'll be                Can't go far but you can always dream                 Wish you may and wish you might                 Don't you worry hold on tight                 I promise you that there will come a day                 Butterfly fly away                Turned around and you were there                 The two of us made quite a pair                 Daddy's little girl was here at last                 Looked away and back again                 Suddenly a year was ten                 Don't know how it got so far so fast                And yes I still don't understand                 It's not anything we planned                 Kind of makes you think it's meant to be (it's a destiny)                 I always knew the day would come                 You'd stop crawling, start to run                 Beautiful as beautiful can beCaterpillar in the tree                 How you wonder who you'll be                 Can't go far but you can always dream                 Wish you may and wish you might                 Don't you worry, hold on tight                 I promise you there will come a day                 Butterfly fly away    Addie: Butterfly fly away (butterfly fly away)                 Got your wings, now you can't stay     Both: Take those dreams and make them all come true    Addie: Butterfly fly away (butterfly fly away)                 You've been waiting for this day     Both: All along you've known just what to do                Butterfly, butterfly, butterfly, butterfly fly away                 Butterfly fly away                  I hope you find your way and all the things you wish for, love and care about     Addie: Butterfly fly away (oh, won't you fly away)                 Butterfly fly away (oh, won't you fly away)                 Butterfly fly away-- -- --     After everyone was done with their songs it was 3am and nobody was sad anymore. We were all remembering the good times and letting our sadness die with the papers in the fire. Some members decided to adopt an orphan to officially mark the start of happiness and change.     There was only one orphan left at the end of the night, she was sixteen and the only one that was a teenager. The rest of the orphans were kids which is why they got adopted. I felt kinda guilty so I ended up taking her in. She was strong, if I trained her well enough she could be a very good warrior but I will let her choose what she wants to be.     So basically I will be her guardian for two years before she can legally make her own decisions. I think her name is Becca but I'm not sure so I'll ask her about it tomorrow. Right now we are all taking turns roasting marshmallows and laughing together. It's starting to feel like a family again and I'm happy I thought of this.     I canceled morning training tomorrow but we will still be doing our pre-dinner training while the maids cook. It takes a long time to cook for nearly 4,000 members so I make sure everyone stays out of the kitchen and leave the maids to do their job.     "How about a celebration howl? Let all the packs know there's a new Ruler." One of the i***t 18 year old males asked. I huffed at the idea.     "How about a rejoice howl instead? To tell all the other packs that we are happy again and act as one." I suggested, earning approval of everyone but the boy.     I smirked at him since I'm not a fan of his either. He has rude motives where as mine are on the uplifting side. This is why some of my members don't like me, I am a happy go lucky leader who shuts down bad intentions.     Looking up at the moon I let my eyes turn red and blue. I could feel Allie take control of my throat as she got ready to let out her Alpha howl. After I let out the first howl everyone joined in, including the pack pups. And I have to admit that we have talent. We always manage to stay in sync even if we aren't trying to, this is why we were feared. Wolves in sync often think in sync and won't be taken down by a surprise attack. We think and act too much alike.     After we all finished howling we looked at each other smiling. I whistled a few times in a bird tone, making the outdoor stereo system come on and starting the party for a second time. Training is going to be rough tomorrow. -- -- -- --     I groaned as I reached for my alarm clock. For some reason it wouldn't shut up so I picked it up and threw it in a random direction. When I heard glass break I opened my eyes to see what I threw it into, noticing I now had a broken window. Great job Addison.     Stepping out of bed I looked out of the broken window, seeing people looking up at me. I smiled and waved before shrugging and going into the bathroom. It's 2pm and I need to get dressed before training starts. Groaning I put on my sports bra and shorts, popping in a bluetooth earbud and put on Toni Romiti. Sliding my phone in my pocket I went in the kitchen to check on the maids.     "Good morning Alpha."      "Good morning ladies. What's for dinner today and how long will you need to cook it?"     "We are making lasagna and it will take four hours."     "Okay, I'll give you guys 30 minutes to get ready with everyone else. The boys will do the kitchen tonight."     "Okay Alpha." They bowed their heads before taking food out of the fridge.     "Becca, just the person I was looking for. Training starts in five minutes and I want to ask you something."     "Whatcha wanna ask Alpha?"     "What position are you training for? I get a warrior vibe but I could be wrong."     "You were right. But I also want to be a traveler."     I looked into her dark blue eyes, studying her. Her black and blue hair was in a ponytail, she had a tattoo on her collarbone and another right under her right knee. Her skin was pale, sun would definitely do her some good.     "Okay, I could make that happen when you are 18. But you have to prove yourself worthy and that you can protect yourself."     She smiled up at me while jumping up and down squealing. I sighed, walking out of the house, Becca following right behind me. What did I get myself into?     "Alright everyone! Training is four hours today, hope you are ready."     A lot of people groaned after I said four. I will admit training usually isn't this long but we need it after not training for a week.      "Get running bitches!" I hollered, mentally laughing as they groaned but started jogging.     "You get a five mile head start, make it count." I called after them making them run faster.     "This is going to be easy." Carly said smirking at me.     "Five miles is nothing, they need to learn how to run to their true potential." Jackson scoffed, upset they 'don't take anything seriously.'     "Jackson, quit picking on them. You used to be that slow." Tai stuck his tongue out at Jackson while he glared at Tai.     "Not everyone can be as lucky as us guys. Not their fault they aren't part vampire."     "Don't make excuses for them Addie. They need to get in touch with nature more." Jackson said crossing his arms causing me to roll my eyes.     "It's a fact Jax. Vampires are faster than Werewolves and Hybrids are faster than Vampires. They are stuck being the slowest species but they are gifted in being stronger than Vampires." Tai reasoned causing me to laugh.     "Strength is nothing without speed. You can't beat someone in a fight if you can't move out of the way fast enough." I countered causing Tai to shrug.     "We could just change them." Carly suggested making me and the boys laugh. "What's so funny?"     "The council would have our asses. We are supposed to protect them not create more of us. Besides I don't want to change them, it's hard to control them as it is."     "Addie why do you always have to make it sound so simple?"     "Because it is. If we changed them into Hybrids then other packs would do the same. Then everyone would be a Hybrid and there would be no greater species to keep them under control."     "Five miles is up guys. The slowest just passed it."      "Let's go." -- -- -- *After Dinner*     "I'm so sore because of you." Becca growled while glaring at Jackson. We all laughed remembering what happened.     "Not my fault you almost made it around the territory."     "The point is to let us." She huffed, clearly upset.     "It's Rouge and Warrior what did you expect? Even if you almost made it a Rogue woulda gotten you." Jackson reasoned making me laugh.     I will admit we call the game Rogue and Warrior but it's actually bullshit. Rogues are always Werewolves not Hybrids so a Rogue would never reach them. But this is our version, if they don't get caught they wouldn't push themselves harder.     "What's so funny?" Becca sneered at me.     "Nothing really. But you are pretty good Becca, faster than everyone except us. You are special kid, I just don't know how yet."     "How am I special?"     "For starters you were 18 miles ahead of everyone. That's impossible if you aren't a Hybrid but here you are." Jackson rolled his eyes at what Carly said.     "Jackson, if you disrespect my Becca again outside of training I will cut you." I threatened, extending my fangs.     "Oh she's yours now, what happened to Marco?" Jackson questioned, clearly trying to piss me off.     I stood up, letting out a growl and showing my fangs/canines. Jackson stood up too, growling back and showing his Golden eyes. I took a step towards him, Jackson doing the same. Right before we lunged at each other Tai stepped in the middle.     "Jackson, that was a d**k move, I would have expected that from Lucas but not you. Addie calm down, please." Tai put his hand on my cheek, making me face him.     "Give it up already Tai, she wants Marco not us." Jackson growled, leaving the room.     Carly went after Jackson and Addie left right before Tai stopped us from fighting. We were now left alone in the living room, silence filling the room while we looked at each other. I looked over at the window, watching the sunset. Slowly Tai began rubbing circles on my cheek making me look back up at him.     His Honey eyes were looking down at me, studying me as he brought his hand down to my neck. Tai's thumb rubbed the sweet spot on my neck making me close my eyes and purr. I opened my eyes again when I felt something soft on my neck. Looking down I saw Tai kissing my neck lightly while looking up at me, his eyes instantly meeting mine. He slowly pulled away, licking his lips causing Ally to whimper. He smirked, knowing the effect he has on Ally.     I looked at him while he stared down at me, asking me to make the next move. So that's what I did, I kissed Tai like I used to in high school. He instantly wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer, kissing me back harder. I moaned when he wrapped his hand around my throat, squeezing it gently while he bit my lower lip.     "Tell me you want it Addie." Tai groaned, sucking on my neck.     "I want you to f**k me Tai."     "Say no more Princess." -- -- --     "f**k that was better than I remembered." Tai laughed while pulling me closer.     "Why did we stop doing this?"     "You went on tour." He sighed, kissing my forehead.     "I offered for you to come with me." I looked into his eyes while kissing his shoulder.     "Someone had to take care of the pack babe. Plus we aren't supposed to be a thing remember?"     "Since when do we follow rules Tai? We have always been the ones to break them."     "Since you became Alpha babe."     "It's not my fault Alpha's and Beta's aren't supposed to be together." I whispered, tracing circles on his chest.     "It's the age gap too Addie. It's ten years, you fell in love with me when you were fourteen."     "Yeah, well we are older now. Sure we have been sleeping together since I was a high school freshman but that's the past. I'm 22 and you're 32, so what?"     "This is why we agreed to give you to Marco. Marco loves you and I know you love him baby girl." I sighed, running out of hope.     "I love you more though. I left him, he won't be here so I can finally have you again. I want you."     "Addie do you know how hard it's going to be? You want to be a singer, I want a family. We can't both get what we want."     "I was a singer, I quit and I am here now."     "You aren't ready. Sure we can keep sleeping together but sooner or later Marco will come for you."     "Marco will have a mate. He hasn't met his yet so there's still hope. Just don't give up on me, please Tai."     "I'd never give up on you." Tai kissed me before laying his head back down on the pillow.     "We should sleep. Morning training starts in three hours." -- -- --     "Becca let's go, training started two minutes ago!" I yelled up the stairs, still waiting on her.     "I'm sorry it's just my wolf is on edge, like something is going to happen."      I scanned over her from head to toe, trying to read all her emotions. Sighing I shook my head, I can feel it too. She is definitely special though, normal wolves don't feel it, just Hybrids. This kid sure is weird.     "Everyone, we aren't running laps today. Something came up and you are going to go to the gym instead. Jackson, Tai, Carly, my office now." I used my Alpha voice so nobody would question me, it would just make everything more complicated.     As soon as we got into my office I opened all the windows so I could see our surroundings. Something bad is definitely going to happen, I just don't know what yet. Outside was way too quiet which means predators are coming towards us.     "Australia is known for territorial predators, aggressive ones who aren't afraid to slaughter tons of people. It could be a pack, vampires, hybrids, you name it." Jackson informed me.     "It has to be a pack, I can feel it I just don't know why they want to come towards us." I sat down on a sofa, not taking my eyes off the window.     "Maybe they are hunting and their prey is leading them this way." Carly suggested.     "It has to be very big or very important prey for them to come into another packs territory." I shot down her positive view, knowing it is worse than she's making it sound.     "Let's find out, we will secure the border and keep watch. The borders are open given everyone is in training." -- -- --     'This is all wrong. I can't tell which direction the threat is.' Tai sent through our link.     'Me either. We are either surrounded or we are being watched.'     'I still think someone is chasing prey.'     As if on queue a wolf came running at me, full speed with other wolves on his tail chasing him. The four of us growled at them, making them focus on us instead. I recognized the scent and growled loudly, using my body to protect Marco from the attacker. Tai, Carly and Jackson walked to my side in case the other wolves make a move.     We all stood at a stand still before I got bored. I snarled at the threats, using my Alpha voice to make them shift. They shifted into their human forms butt naked showing us they weren't Hybrids. Tai, Carly and Jackson then shifted, fully clothed and stepped in front of me before I shifted too. We always did this when we didn't know if someone was a threat or not.     I nudged Carly out of my way so I could see the three wolves. I analyzed them trying to catch a pack scent, eventually catching one.     "Why were you chasing my best friend?" I asked, looking at them and reading their emotions.     "He crossed through our territory and smells like a Rogue. So we chased him, Rogues aren't permitted in our area." I looked over my shoulder at Marco and growled at him causing him to bow his head.     "I am sorry to hear that, he is from my pack in North America but we moved. He came looking for us apparently. Who is your Alpha and of what pack?" I asked curiously looking at the guy that keeps talking.     "Alpha Terrain, he leads the Blood Moon Pack. When did you guys move here? We weren't informed of your arrival or anything."     "I'd rather explain this to your Alpha in a meeting. Do you mind getting a hold of him and asking him if he could set up a meeting with us?"     "If you could wait a minute we can link him and ask when he is free."     "Fine. My name is Alpha Ramirez, leader of the Golden Trident Pack."      The kid just nodded and mind linked his Alpha while I rolled my eyes. Regular members are not supposed to mind link an Alpha anything about this kind of thing. Something this important should only be taken care of by the top five members of a Pack. Talk about disorganized.     "Our Alpha would like to know if tonight around six would be okay."     "Tell him dinner will be served at five, he and five other members are welcome to join if he would like."     'What are you doing?' Tai linked me causing me to roll my eyes.     'I have a bad feeling about this. I'd rather have as many members present as possible.'     "Alpha Terrain has agreed. Expect us a little before five."     "Who is us?" Jackson asked.     "I am Lucifer, the Beta in training, I will be taking my Dad's place at the dinner. Delta Alex is on my right, Chief Warrior Seth is on my left. The other two members will be a surprise."     "Alright. You guys better not cause trouble when you get here or we will kill all of you." I threatened, showing my fangs while moving to protect Marco again. Making what I mean very clear.     "Of course Alpha Ramirez." The Beta reassured before bowing and leaving.     "I don't trust them." We all growled at the same time. -- -- --     'Everyone change into something black and intimidating. We will be having guests, don't say anything to them unless they talk to you.' I ordered everyone as I looked at my outfit.     They will be here in half an hour and I just got out of the shower. A black tank top, slit jeans and a jacket lay on my bed next to my timberland boots. I am standing in front of my full body mirror, staring at the tattoo of my parent's mark. It's the only tattoo I have and I am proud of it, it's the one thing that equally represents my Mom and Dad. Since I can't see the gorgeous mark on my Dad anymore I can always see the mark on top of my heart.     Snapping out of my trance I quickly got dressed and looked at the mirror again. Dad's necklace with his and Mom's wedding rings hooked onto it was hanging off the edge of the mirror. I grabbed it and put it around my neck before tucking it under my shirt. Then I brushed my hair and put it into a bun. Noticing the hickey on my neck I quickly put my hair back down and kept it normal.     'They are here Alpha.'     'I will be right down Tai, keep them busy.'     Quickly putting on my boots I speed walked down the hall. Climbing down the stairs and heading towards the front yard. I sighed before opening the front door, trying to relax before everything goes bad. Opening the door I noticed that Marco is out front in his wolf form still. Slightly growling at our visitors.     "What's wrong this time?" I asked Tai while he glared at Alpha Terrain.     "He wants to take Marco." I laughed loudly at what he said. This has to be a joke.     "Beta Female I assume." Alpha Terrain said causing me to laugh harder as everyone growled at him.     "Alpha Ramirez actually. And you will have to go through me before you get Marco." I growled after composing myself.     "That should be easy, you look pretty easy." He said cockily making me smirk.     "Try it then Terrain."     "It's Alpha Terrain to you." He growled at me, making me smile wide.     He took a threatening step towards me causing Marco to step in front of me as Tai shifted. They both growled at him, snapping at him as a crowd gathered around us.     "I see, Ramirez can't even fight her own battles." He laughed causing his five members to laugh while all of mine growled.     'Shift back Tai, Marco go into the house and change.' I mind linked the boys and I took off my boots.     Once Marco was inside I turned back to the bastard and let my fangs and canines come out. My Pack took a step back as I growled and let my eyes change color.     "Try me." I hissed and waited for them to make a move.     "Mate." The Alpha said making me turn and look into the direction he was staring.     I let out a deep growl, jumping onto him and pinning him down. My hand on his throat squeezing as I continued to growl at him. "Don't even think about it."     "Alpha." Becca whispered not too far from me. Sighing I got up and stood in front of her.     "I won't let you." I said, turning back to Alpha Terrain.     "She is mine." He said sternly making me shake my head.     "You'll have to kill me to get to her."     "Just let me have my mate!"     "You can't have anyone in this Pack, regardless of what you want." Tai snarled walking towards me.     "Why would I want a mate like you?" Becca whispered, clearly scared of this douche.     I smiled in victory as Alpha Terrain's face looked broken. Wrapping my arms around Becca I hugged her tightly and kissed her head. "It's okay babe."     "I guess a treaty is not going to happen." Terrain said as his face hardened.     "I would happily wipe out your pack." I growled, my eyes turning blue and red. "Try me."     "What's your name?" Becca asked looking at Terrain.     "Maxwell Terrain, Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack." He responded looking at her with hope, which was quickly crushed.     "I, Rebecca Stone of the Golden Trident Pack reject you, Maxwell Terrain, Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack, as my Mate."     Terrain looked even more broken then before making my Pack smile like we just won a war without any casualties. Without saying anything they left, looking defeated. Our Pack did a victory howl in unison before going inside and eating dinner. That turned out better than I thought. Becca's POV     It's been three days and I feel terrible. As strange as it sounds I miss his face, and the way Maxwell Terrain sounds. Ugh, I get butterflies every time I think about it. I need to find him, I'm going crazy. But the Pack doesn't like him, they will be crushed if they know I want him. But I feel broken without him.     It's decided, I will sneak out. But I don't know where to find their Pack. I sighed in defeat for the millionth time today. I'll just talk to Alpha, she should know where to find them.     I stood up, putting on a jacket and shoes before looking for her. Hopefully she understands, I really need to see him or I won't know how to handle this pain anymore.     *Knock knock* "Come in Becca."     I walked into her office, slowly pacing in circles while I thought about how to word this. I could feel her watching me as I walked but I didn't really think much of it.     "The territory East of us. But you have to remember something Becca. If you run into the patrol then they will kill you on site since we don't have a treaty. Unless I take you then you might not make it to him, he needs to hear you out personally." She spoke up making me stop in my tracks.     "Why would you do that for me Alpha?"     "It's Addie, and because I know what this does to people. My dad killed himself, I wanted to die the day mine did, Tai wanted to die when his did too." She looked at me with a sad smile before continuing.     "I was scared what people would say about Tai and I so we hid. I've regretted it for a long time and I don't want you to feel like I do. Regret is not fun and neither is heart break."     "But you don't like him or his pack Addie. Why would you do this for me?"     "I'd rather be someone you look up to Becca, not someone that ruined your life. Besides we don't really have a reason to hate each other, they just wanted to kill Marco and that's not okay."     We let an awkward silence fill the room. I didn't really know what to say and I really didn't like making a fool out of myself.     "I will take you to him tonight as long as you agree to some conditions. I already made a contract so that you don't go back on your word." She casually pulled out a paper from her drawer and grabbed a pen, sitting it in front of her for me to look at.     "One, you will train with my Pack not theirs. Two, you will only stay the night at his Pack on Friday and Saturday nights. Your education comes first that's why the other nights will be here, I will make sure you go to school. Third, no babies and no marriage till you graduate high school. Four, it's this pack over theirs, family comes first Becca remember that. And lastly, if something is wrong come to me no matter what it is. If he hurts you, somebody touches you, you broke your arm, want to get a puppy, anything, you tell me. Got it?"     I nodded, reading the rest of the contract. She pretty much summarized everything and it's reasonable. I signed it before handing it back to her. She printed a few copies before handing me one.     "What are the other copies for?" I asked, watching her keep one out and file the rest.     "This copy is for your mate so he doesn't get any ideas. He can't argue since it's already signed and he can't say he doesn't know the rules if I give him a copy." She smiled while looking at me, she clearly thought about everything.     "So when can we go?"     "You need to shower and pack for the weekend then we will leave. Today is Friday Becca." -- -- --     "I'm nervous Addie." I whispered as we neared the pack house.     "How do you think I feel? I have to resolve the problems between us so you can make s**t official." She mumbled before opening the door.     We quietly snuck around the house heading towards his office. Nobody was in it but his scent was all over the room making me and my wolf happy. I sat on one of the couches, closing my eyes and inhaling his scent. My eyes bolted open when I heard Addie break something that sounded expensive. Soon enough Terrain was in the room growling with his Beta right behind him.     "Hello Alpha Terrain." She smiled innocently and sat down in the chair behind his desk. "Please take a seat."     "You're in my seat Ramirez." He growled making me shrink back into the couch. I forgot how scary he could be.     "I saved you a better one." She smirked waiting on him to look at me. It's not his fault she hid my scent along with hers so we could sneak in.     "I'm so confused." He said, slowly making his way towards me.     "I know you didn't accept her rejection Maxwell." She growled running out of patients.     "Lucifer, leave us." Lucifer quickly left, shutting the door behind him. "Continue."     "You were breaking my girl, do you know how much trouble you are in for that?" Addie growled clearly pissed.     "You said you were going to resolve problems not create them." I countered, looking at her confused.     "Becca, you are mated to an Alpha so I mean this in the nicest way possible. NEVER call a pissed off Alpha anything except their title. But you are right, this is one of our issues though. Alpha Terrain, if you hurt my girl again I will personally kill everyone in this Pack and make you watch before I kill you too." Max nodded his head slowly, not wanting to piss her off even more.     "Good, now for our main problem. If you ever try to touch anyone I know, Rogue or not, I will hunt your friends down and kill them. Marco is a part of my Pack, has been since he was born. I transferred him to a new pack but he didn't like them so he came looking for us again. If I find out you are still hunting him so help me Goddess you will be skinned alive no matter what Becca says."     "I guess I could leave him alone." He mumbled causing Addie to growl. "Okay, I agree."     "Good. So I had Becca sign a contract and there are some rules you have to understand. I am her legal guardian and if you break these I have a right to take her away from you. Follow the rules listed on here and we will have no problems."     Addie got up from where she was standing and walked to us. Handing the paper to Max she sat on the couch across from ours and waited for him to read all of it.     "Why does she have to train with you?"     "Because our training is better than yours. We train twice a day, in the morning from 6 to 8 and in the evening from 3 till dinner is done. A week ago we had four hour training but it is usually two and a half hours. I will be willing to let her train with you on Friday evenings, all day Saturday and Sunday mornings. It just depends on your training schedule.      However she needs to be home before Sunday evening before training starts. Not to mention her needing to continue school, so if you want to see her during the week you have to visit yourself. Give me a notice though, I don't like surprises and my pack doesn't exactly like yours."     "Okay, I understand completely. So what do you need from me?"     "No trouble. I want to make a treaty with you next month, keep your pack in line before then and I will do the same. I also don't want you to cheat on Becca."     "I will keep them in line as best as I can. I have around 2,000 members so it's a bit difficult, let me know if someone is causing you trouble if that happens."     "Then you need to be a better Alpha." Addie hissed.     "Addie, calm down okay? Not everyone can tame a lot of people at once. You are special and have the power to control everyone, Max is just a regular werewolf." I tried to reason but she didn't seem to like it.     "Rebecca, unless you know how to rule a pack don't suggest how I do it. I don't control anyone, I barely use power over them. They respect me and I respect them, we act as a family, we act as one. That's something this pack lacks and for your sake I hope they get better at it."     "Our pack does act like one."     "You're not helping Max, stay quiet please." I whispered hoping he would listen.     "Addie just listen to me. His pack is unique and just needs a bit more help than yours. They didn't have a legend form them like yours did."     "That legend was beyond broken yet formed a better Pack than this one." She growled, her eyes changing from brown to black then red/blue and back to brown.     "He was still a legend, and we already knew Packs here were vicious before you moved us here. Did you expect this one to be all cuddly?"     "No, but I did expect them to back down when I told them to back off of Marco. He is and always will be part of my Pack but instead he threatened me and called me a f*****g Beta Female, not even a Beta!"     "Well you do have a thing with the Beta." I mumbled causing Max to laugh.     "Rebecca Sue Thompson!" She growled at me causing me to cringe and curl into Max.     "What'd I do wrong?"     "Do you not know about the rules of a pack?" I shook my head, I never really paid attention in class.     "Alpha's and Beta's are not supposed to have a relationship unless they are mates. Judging by her reaction they aren't mates." Max explained making me feel stupid.     "I'm sorry Addie, I didn't know." I muttered looking at the ground.     "How are you supposed to be a warrior if you don't even know basic rules?!"     I shrunk back more while she went on a rant. It's not that I was scared of her it's the fact that she was right. How am I going to be a fighter if I don't know what rules to enforce?     "She doesn't need to be a Warrior, she will be a Luna."     "What?!" Addie and I both shouted.     "She's my mate, it's her duty to be Luna."     "No, her duty is to be a mate, there are packs without Luna's. Pack's need an Alpha not a Luna." Addie interjected making me feel better.     "Besides I have a dream I want to follow. Being a Luna would just get in the way."     "Being a warrior puts you in danger, being Luna keeps you safe."     "Bullshit, Luna's and Alpha's still go to battle. In fact they are the ones leading the pack even in situations like that." Addie countered again, hoping to make him look like a dumb ass.     "That may be how Hybrids fight but Werewolves want to keep their mates safe so that they don't die."     I saw Addie stiffen at that, her eyes turning blueed. The room instantly went quiet as the temperature dropped a lot. I didn't understand what was happening but Addie seemed beyond pissed. Her nails were digging into the sofa and her fangs/canines were extended.     "I have to go." She said as she ran out of the room almost breaking the door in the process.
