Mateo's POV
"Where have you been? I have been looking for you all over. Didn't my secretary tell you that I wanted you in my office hours ago?" I questioned Leonardo the moment he stepped foot into my office. He was looking out of breath as if he ran all the way here.
"I am sorry. I went to visit my mom. I should have told you, I thought I did. I was on my way back, and traffic was crazy. I had to park the car near a cafe and ran all the way here. I knew you would be looking for me."
Leonardo paused, then asked. "Anything? my phone has been on silent mode. I just wanted to spend some time with her since I don't get to see her often."
