Theus' POV
"Yes, mom. Gotta hung up, the architects is in here" I said then hung up the call.
She's forcing me to come over and have a dinner, for sure she'll gonna tease me to death and of course Tegan and Dad won't stay still. They will roast me too.
"Sir, the architects is here" informed Kira
"wait a sec" I said then compile the proposal that seems reassuring for me. As soon I collect all the needed papers, I immediately went to the Board Room. I badly want to call it a day 'cause I'm starving.
Speaking of food I texted Tegan to tell our cook to prepare something for me, a special request.
As soon as the meeting ended I decided to take a nap first. I woke up around 6 in the evening so I hurriedly fix myself and close my tabs.
By exactly seven, I'm already infront of my parent's house, I saw Tegan's car parked beside Dad's so I know for sure he's here already.
The loud laugh welcomed me as soon as I enter the dining hall. Dad's in the center and beside left is Mom, Tegan is at dad's right.
Mom stood up and kissed my cheeks to welcome me, so do I, Dad and Tegan just nod their head at me so I sat beside Mom.
"Aunt Laura can I have my food please?" I call our cook.
"Yes, señorito! right away" she said and get back at kitchen. So we began to eat silently when mom fire out her questions.
"So what's with the conceive thingy, baby?" mom began to ask. There she goes
"Mom, it's nothing. Tegan's talking bullshit so don't fall for his antics" I boredly answer.
"Then what's with the sandwich with banana sliced spread? it's a weird food combination for me"
"Mom seriously, its nothing to be worried about"
"then paired up with hot choco? in broad daylight? in the beginning of summer? that's odd, Son" Dad
"aren't we drinking coffee at the office from summer to winter that?" I asked him back that made him grin. I know that grin
"coffee is given, but the hot choco is not" there there Dad, he's starting to roast me. I heard Tegan laugh so I glared at him that made him laugh more. This bastard.
"so who is who, Son?" Mom. seriously?
"who's who, Mom?" I asked obviously
"the pregnant?" mom answered obviously too
Why do I have to be in this situation again? right. This bastard Tegan just spill something that ain't reliable enough.
"I guess it's the hot manager near at ASI right?" Tegan, then smirked at me
"how would I know? does my sperm contacted me and said 'Hey I am in someone else's body, I'm going to get this girl got pregnant so better expect me in 9 months!' like that?" I said that made them laugh
"but seriously, Son. when your mom is pregnant with you, I was the one who conceive. Just like you I ate weird food combination that my heart desire." tell Dad. Now it makes sense.
"Is it possible Mom?" I asked my mom
"of course baby! believe it or not, in our family, only the husband will conceive and the wife will just feel nauseous and dizzy." Mom
"but I don't know to which of them is pregnant, last time I check I used condom" I honestly said.
"when was the last time?" Dad asked
"about six months before my 21st birthday"
"does it mean he didn't use condom to that girl?" I heard Tegan talking to himself
"that girl? who?" Dad asked, I didn't know dad heard that too but that girl? who?
"a college freshman. Remember the girl you slept with after your birthday? the college girl bro" he said.
I ransack my mind to remember that girl but I don't remember her, really.
"the necklace with the pendant of fire. Flammia is engraved at the upper side back. you remember? that someone called you 'sir' that gives you b***r?" Tegan. Now it's clear. But how the hell?
"Flammia huh?" mom
"percentage of her getting pregnant mom?" I asked her. It's getting to my nerves. What if I really got her pregnant?
"100% sure, Baby. by now maybe she's five or six months pregnant." mom said casually
"we better find that Flammia or whoever she is" Dad proclaimed then everyone went silent.
Flammia.....if mom is right then I'm having a baby.
