The days following our visit to Ryder's ranch are filled with a warmth that lingers long after we return home. Ryder and I text frequently, our conversations flowing easily as we discover shared interests and perspectives. It's refreshing to find someone I can relate to on so many levels, and it makes me look forward to our next visit even more. However I keep telling myself not to read more into it than friendship.
Rayne is practically bouncing off the walls with excitement about returning to the ranch. She can't stop talking about Daisy and Ryder, her enthusiasm infectious. Riley, on the other hand, is more reserved, unsure if riding is really his thing. But when I mention Ryder's entertainment room, his curiosity piques, and he seems more open to the idea of coming along.
