I wake from my nap. Turning to look at the clock, I see it is 6:30 at night. I get up, go to the bathroom, wash my hands and face, then head out to find Sam and Jared. “Emma, did you rest well?” Jared asks when he sees me enter the living room. “Yes. Thank you. I'm sorry I slept so long. I was going to make you guys dinner. I won't have time now for what I planned. Maybe I can make something quick and easy?” “Don't worry about that little darlin. Jared and I made sandwiches. You just come over here and relax.” Sam tells me. “Okay but I need a drink first.” I tell Sam heading to the kitchen.
