Even though I said I would consider this proposal, I really don't want to. I really don't want to marry just any person, but now I think there is not any other choice for other things than this. It is simply ridiculous for someone to send a marriage proposal like that. Who does that? Oh! Sorry some stupid prince can do that because he doesn't care. On top of that, marrying both of the brothers.

I really don't know what to do. I will try my best to think about the solution which is best for everyone. The pain I can see in the faces of our soldiers and people only left me with one solution, that is to marry both those brothers. Now don't think about it. It will make you feel bad Ishan, so cheer up. Just leave everything on God bholenath. He will take care of me and will give me what is best for me.

Now I remember that there is the temple of God bholenath near here. So I should go and pray there. It will give me some peace. So I asked for permission from Papa. He told me to go there carefully. This temple is near the territory of both states. So both sides pray there. I really don't want to have any trouble with their side right now. So I wore clean clothes to go to the temple. I left for the temple after changing clothes.

Aadi POV

My brother and I want to take over Indrapuri since it has the best sources of food and clothing. Our state is prosperous, but it lacks food and clothing resources because of a slightly harsh environment. The environment of our state is not suitable for the high yield of crops and raw materials needed for clothes. Our state is rich in iron, jewels, coal and gold. We need to import a large amount of food and clothing from other states. So would the cost of food and clothing increase. Because of this, many of our people die due to hunger if they are from poor families in harsh weather.

Indrapuri is the prosperous and biggest exporter of all food, clothing etc. This state is nearest to our state, TrilokPuri. They have been our enemy for a very long time due to some issues. Otherwise, the cost of these things wouldn't have been so high. After seeing an increasing rate of time, people's deaths increase due to lack of food. We decided to take over this state because it will strengthen our economy.

We started this war in 5 days. We have them in bad condition.

They sent us a negotiation letter. My older twin, Advik is going to be the next king. Our father already remains ill. So all the work is done by my brother. He is the unofficial king. It will be his decision if he wants to negotiate or not. I am his official advisor in all matters, no matter what. So he asked for my opinion on this negotiation matter.

“ Advik we should give it a thought. Anyway, we are not the one on the losing end. Anyway, it's going to be in our favor. ” I said.

“ You are right. If we can get it done in a simple way, there is no need to go a cruel way. ” Advik said.

So we sent them a letter. We can negotiate with them but only if the king himself is present there. We waited for around 3 days. We got a reply that he is here for negotiations. We set a time for the negotiation meeting. The negotiation meeting was set to be in the middle of the battleground which is just 15 minutes away from our barracks.

When we reached there, I saw the opposite king sitting there already. I also saw a girl with a spear in her hand. Her eyes are brown like mine but in a different shade of brown. She looks quite tall. She is beautiful. I looked towards my brother. She hasn't looked at her yet. The teams tried to say some pleasant things, so negotiations would go smoothly. The negotiation started. My brother simply said he would take half of their state to leave them alone.

He is a person with no bullshit. He can talk politely but not too much. He is a straightforward person. So it can hurt you a lot sometimes. In this matter, it's appropriate to be true, because if we fight 2–3 days more we will have the whole state. Suddenly, a voice interrupted the discussion by saying :

“ This is simply not ethical, sir. This is not how things work. You can trade other things from our state which are not easily available in your state. ”

Everyone looked towards her. She walked towards the table. She first introduced herself as princess of Indrapuri.We went back and forth over the argument. She even knew if we stayed stubborn on our point, then their negotiation chance would be zero. They would lose their whole state if we didn't settle for something less. She was just taking this chance.

My brother looked at me with his eyes. You like her. I looked towards him with eyes saying, of course, dumbo. Do you want her? I asked with his eyes. He looked like I wanted her.

So he changed his mind about the half state. He said, “We can think about it. We need thirty percent of your yearly crops and clothing as a peace agreement. We can also open trade paths for both our states but..... ” He paused a bit and looked at everyone. Through the look of their faces, I know they will all agree to this condition. He dropped another bomb on them. “We want the princess to marry us both brothers.” He is blunt as always. Their face has become a bit bad.

Their king tried to save the situation by saying they would think about it. So the time for the next meeting was in two days.
