I had to get my hunger under control and I needed Kathy to do the same. We went off into the forest to find her something to feed on. I normally feed on a willing human but if I really have to then I do feed on any animal nearby. Kathy was just turned. She just needed blood. I ran off to find her something to feed on when I felt it. That engrossing feeling that blinded me from everything else in the world. I didn't have to look far. There she was looking straight at me.
