CHAPTER FOUR Marlese was dressed and ready to go when Bo and I returned. She wore a red and gold African print dress with her micro braids tied up into a ponytail, and she was radiant. She looked just like her mother with her bright black eyes and infectious smile. I won’t say that Darvin looked raggedy next to her in his Hawaiian shirt.
