Amri

Cassie:".....and then he said it's over!"

Amri:"what!?"

Lina:"I know unbelievable right?"

waiting in this hot day outside an ice cream truck while eating my chocolate flavoured ice cream, it became kinda boring that was untill Cassie and Selina called so we ended up in a conference call talking about Cassie's break up with Mike

Amri:" wait Lina you were there too and I wasn't?"

Lina:"well,we did call and your phone was off so we thought you were grounded or something"

Amri:"and you let Mike speak like that to Cassie infront of you?"

Lina:"what can I do your the tough guy and besides Cassie wouldn't let me do anything to him!"

Cassie:"guys if he doesn't want to date me anymore he has the right to dump meee .......ahhhh"

and she continued sobbing

Amri:"bullshit ! your starting to sound like Amra although your emotions are flowing"

Lina:"besides where are you Amri at a time like this your girl needs you"

Amri:"trust me Lina if I had any choice now I'd be anywhere than were am at right now!"

Cassie:"where exactly are you?"

Amri:"the city hall"

hahahahaha and they all just laughed

Lina:"and why exactly would you be there?"

Amri:"because this is where the RAC s**t is taking place"

"so!?"they all questioned

why are these people so ignorant

Amri:"so this is where the nerd her self is which am supposed to apologise through lunch or there will be no sheerleading for the next two months says my mom"

Cassie:"poor thing"

says Cassie in low voice wait isn't she the one whose going through a break up

Amri:"anyways,guy I gotta go I see some nerds coming out and that's my cue"

Lina:"oh well good luck girl"

we hung up and I finish my ice cream and went close to the large and long stairs waiting

Instructor:"time is up ,please put your pens down and stand up fro your positions"

as the lady who was collecting the exam papers finished doing her job and left the class everyone started talking about what they wrote or what was the most challenging question but I one the other end was looking forward to having lunch with Amri mom told me in the morning and pretended not to know anything as I went out the class think she must have waited long

Josh:"Amra wait up!"

I hear a familiar voice calling me and within a second his right infront of me blocking my way

Amra:"move"

Josh:"what's the hurry aren't we leaving together?"

Amra:"no"

I answer as I walk past him and he walks beside me

Josh:"are you still mad at me?"

he asks but am more focused on the way out which am two steps close but he reached in one step again blocking my way and I swear his getting to my nerves

Amra:"move"

once again I tell him

Josh:"not untill you answer me "

Amra:"what do you want me to answer?"

Josh:"anything but leaving like this"

I take a deep breath trying not to push this guy off the stairs so he could go to hell am about to answer him when another familiar voice is heard

Chris:"how many times does the girl have to tell you to f**k off Josh is it your sense of hearing the problem or is it your understanding?

oh great this guy does my day get any worse

Josh:"I think the only problem here is you so why don't you f**k off"

Amra:" can you people take whatever is going on with you some where else away from me!"

I tell them walking pass Josh but he grabs my hand

Josh:Amra please wa...

Amra:"let go of me !"

I shout at him and his not listening

Chris:"she said let go of her!"

Chris comes between me and Josh which causes him to let go of my hand and of cause they start fighting and that is non of my business I calm down the stairs and I see a girl in a pink mini skirt and a white clop top with literally the same facial appearance as me looking my way with a raised eye brow

maybe I should have waited a little more longer than standing here like an i***t I am maybe I should go back and wait while sitting but before I make up my mind the drama queen herself came into view and her on going drama is still on ,wait it's Josh the most kind and gentle like guy who is also as smart as he looks is holding Amra's hand while Chris! holy s**t what's he doing here and his shooting daggers at Josh's hand which is holding Amra's

but Amra as always getting so irritated by any action a boy takes on her I wonder if she's lesbie as the two end up in a fight Amra walks down the stairs looking confident as always and just can't help my self but question her

Amri:"so is Josh the one ?"

Amra:"the one?"

Amri:"you know the one you'll finally date and leave the other guys for us"

Amra:"no and no"

Amri:"what does that mean?"

Amra:"it means am not gonna date Josh and and I don't have other guys so you can date whoever you want"

Amri:"really as if you'll let me?"

we continue walking

Amra:"you never know"

and I turn to look at her is she actually retiring from report all my love life to mom ,maybe this lunch thing could work out after all

I try to concentrate but no I can't think of nothing I start to sweat especially my hand ,I take a deep breath I have to make this work or else he's gonna kill me ahh! I can't think am almost done but I just went out of the zone I need air I look at the side of the window but I see a girl she's writing on her paper and the only direction her eyes are aiming is her exam I wish I could be focused as her even thou she's not answering the right answers not at that speed of cause without realizing I just keep staring at her hand

"excuse me"I hear a voice and as I look I see the instructor she is heading my way ,she reaches me and takes my front answer sheet and writes a clear negative ten on my paper and returns it to me and heads back to the front of the class

I look back at the answer sheet and damn even the possibilities of me getting what I planned are over I throw my pen in frustration

Instructor:"sir if continue with this behavior am gonna have to ask you to step outside"

the instructor warns me and I just make up my mind to finish the damn thing but then it hits me that I threw my freaking pen ,but then I see some one point a pen actually it's my pen ,I follow the hand which is supporting it towards me and I meet with very dark green eyes which look absolutely mad and it's at this moment that I actually realized how her dark hair is making her even more gorgeous and I just ended up stearing at her, suddenly

Instructor:"sir ,I would like u to leave this room!"

well I was out of my daze and you know what f**k this s**t I stood up and left but ,I know I left with one thing the face of the angle herself damn!

Before we entered the restaurant it hit me I almost forgot I took out my phone and started searching for the name Sally

Amri:"please God let me have it "

I begged oh found it ,I started calling the number at first she didn't pick up but then she did

Amri:"oh, hi sals

Sally:"please don't call me that and what do you want?"

she sounded bored but what do I care

Amri:"I was about to ask you for a favour .."

Sally:"no"

Amri:" come on it gonna benefit all of us "

Sally:"what?"

now she's interested

Amri:"well the thing is can you sign me for the school gymnastic team?"

Sally:"I don't see how that's gonna benefit me?"

Amri:"wait you still don't see the big picture here ok, let me tell..."

Sally:"ok I will"

and she hungs up how rude

Amra:" you're signing up for the gymnastic team?"

what she can't believe it well believe it baby

Amri:" yes "

Amra:"aiming for the Nationals?"

Amri:" no am aiming for the world but, I'll have to take this school to the Nationals first then they'll see what they have been ignoring all along and I'll finally become the 'queenbee' "

Amra:"ok" she says awkwardly

are we still eating lunch cause am starving"

she complains as if ,you never eat much anyway and I turn my heels towards the restaurant and she follows behind .

we find a table and a few minutes later our ordered foods arrive ,Amra ordered spaghetti and I just had a salad you know am on a diet .Ok how to start this thing we sat quietly for like an hour and I know I have to start the talking

Amri:"mmh! so how did the exam go? i ask awkwardly

Amra:"do you really wanna know?

what am I doing I'll just get over with it

Amri:"no but, about last night ....thank you"

I say and she stops eating her lunch and looks at me I know she knows what I meant but she just won't let it slide

Amra:" for what?

she asks while looking at me curiously

Amri:"could you cut the s**t amra you know exactly what I mean and am sorry!"

I literally shout those words out and to my surprise she throws one of those gorgeous smiles of hers

Amri:"stop it amra ,your making me look ugly"

I whisper to her and she rolls her eyes

Amra:"you see Amri we were actually having a moment but you always have to......"

before she could finish the sentence my phone rang

Amri:"I have to take this "

Amra:" serious.."

Amri:"hello"

I pick up the phone and Amra looks really pissed

Cassie:" girl you know the news?"

Amri:" what news ? "

Cassie:" what ?the whole school knows about it !"

what is she talking about I ask myself but then,it hit me

Amri:"don't tell me the whole school already knows I just asked her a minute ago damn,news does travel fast "

I say while smiling finally am gonna be famous

Cassie:"what are you talking about ?

Amri:"what do you think am talk about ,this is about me joining the school gymnastic team, right?"

Cassie:"no! and you did?"

Amri:"wait then what's the news about?"

Cassie:"it about Amra!"

I breath out my breath which I was holding in and look at the spot light stealer right infront of me ,and what she does is just drink her lemonade and Bam! she's all over the school

Amri:"ohh ,her"

I answer rather bored

Cassie:"yes her ,she just made Josh and Chris fight untill the police came to solve them ,can you believe that?"

ohh so that's what all this is about it's no big deal even I can make boys fight that hard for me mmh! I snort

Amri:" yeah I was there "

Cassie:"and you didn't tell me ?"

Amri:"well it didn't look thrilling"

Cassie:"ok anyways the school has decided to officially crown her QUEENBEE"

Amri:"What!"

two days ago

Josh:"hey Amra I brought you something"

Amra:"not interested"

Josh:" even if it involves the last year RAC exam"

and I immediately turn around my chair finding him holding a stalk of papers I want to grab one but he moves them away ,I breath out the breath I was holding

Amra:"what's the deal?"

I ask him and he smirks ,a smirk that would make any girl fall for him but not me they just discust me ,he answers me

Josh:"well now your talking, the thing is we get to study together for you to borrow them ,deal?"

he reaches his hand out for me to secure the deal but I snach one of the papers from his other hand and he smiles

Josh:" I'll take that as a yes then"

and sits next to me

2 hrs later am half way through the stalk of papers

Josh:" wanna take a break you know, we still have one more day"

I look at him once and go back to the paper

Amra:"exactly"

I answer and he moves his chair very close to mine and his face only an inch away from me and he whispers

Josh:"exactly what?"

I look at him making my face even closer to his me being so confused and startled not understanding the situation which is happening his lips moves closer to mine and he wants to kiss me !

I pushed him back and stood up I was about to leave when he held my arm

josh:"Amra wait ,am so....."

before he could finish his story I slapped him and pushed him away from me

Amra:" don't ever come close to me ever again!"

and with that I took my bag and left leaving him stearing at me with regretting eyes but do I care no and never
