*Chapter 5:The Morning Before* Before that morning happened, Angel woke up early to prepare her packed lunch for work, and she made extra so she could pass by the man sleeping on the chair to leave. "A few days have passed, good thing he eats everything I give him, good thing he learned to value food and blessings," Angel whispered while wrapping the sandwich. "Hello, it's me, and you're still being grumpy to me," Angel said to herself while looking at the extra sandwich. "But you know, I wish I had a chance to talk to you without being scared of you and I hope you won't bite me. Maybe you're just pretending to be human. That's why you're always there to choose your victims," Angel said to herself while thinking of the homeless man. She laughed at her own imagination. "Okay, fine, this is enough. I will still bring food for Lida because I know she doesn't have time to prepare her breakfast because of so many things she does, the woman who never rests, haha, haha luckily I'm not getting married yet, so I'm not in the situation of my best friend," Angel said to herself. She just left Lida’s food in the locker outside Lida’s door, and continued walking on the street that she passes every day going to her work ride. "I will just leave this to him again, and I hope he likes it," Angel whispered. Angel just needed to hurry because the service vehicle of their work would only wait for her for up to five minutes. Angel approached the location of the man and slowly placed the sandwiches and hot coffee but, unexpectedly, Vince's eyes suddenly opened. Angel stopped as if shocked, and it seemed like her spirit left ahead of her. Their eyes met and Angel was more shocked when he got up. Angel stepped back. "Ah eh, I just left food for you. I hope you like it, and you're not throwing it away. What a waste," said Angel, her voice shaking. The man just stared at her then said, "Why are you doing this?" "Sorry," said Angel, and was about to take the sandwich again to leave. But Vince held her hand. "Service! Angel! Hurry up!" Her coworker shouted at the end of the street. "I told you, you don't need to do this, why are you still doing it?" Vince asked again, holding Angel's hand. Angel could no longer speak and just stared into Vince's eyes. "Angel the service is leaving. Come here quickly," shouted Angel's coworker, waiting at the service of their work. It was only then that Angel came to her senses and realized that Vince was holding her hand. She quickly let go of it and told Vince that I had to go first, I would be late for the service, then ran towards the location of the company service of her workplace. On the other hand, Angel is still thinking about the holding of her hand by the man, Vince, and his eyes. "Why am I becoming like this? Is this really how it is when you're falling in love? Girl later, he might be crazy, and you're still getting giddy over him," Angel joked to herself. "But from what I saw earlier, he is not crazy. I saw in his eyes that he was carrying something heavy." When Angel left, Vince was left on the chair and took the food left for him by Angel and ate it. Angel knows that the beggar man really likes her coffee and sandwich. Vince smiled slightly while eating slowly the food made by Angel. (The cellphone is ringing) The man on the other line said, "Boss, there's a problem, your dad is here, and he's asking where you are, I just said what you ordered, but they want to talk to you and see you." "Okay let Dad be, as long as you don't tell anyone about what we talked about," calmly replied Vince to the man he was talking to. "Yes boss, as you wish."
