She walked along the shorelines of a beautiful island. The sand was warm and crisp between her toes, sparkling like diamonds under her feet. The water was so blue it dazzled the eyes. It was like a paradise. She didn’t know how she got there, or even where ‘there’ was; she only knew that she felt at peace. She felt safe. Up ahead of her was a path that led into a dense forest. A sense of longing filled her as she approached it. She didn’t understand it; the intense feeling that someone was waiting for her to come home, just on the other side of those trees.
