Well, that peace was short-lived. I get up out of my seat and go to Dekker
“When do we leave? I will end this once and for all!.”
Dekker looks me up and down, then folds his arms across his chest and begins to shake his head.
“There is no way I am letting you go, Astrid. What if they get you too, or worse? I know where they are going, and this is something for Max and me to do! We need an army. They have taken her to the caves of terror, and one wrong move you could get lost or worse, and I have only just found you, Astrid, and I won't lose you too, so, please stay put.”
