Chapter4 The Honeymoon

900 Words
Ethan’s POV I woke up to the seductive glow of morning light spilling through the curtains of our luxurious suite at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris. Cathrina stirred beside me, her movements both graceful and tantalizing, while a storm of emotions swirled within me. I lay there, frozen and captivated, until she opened her eyes and flashed me a smile that promised mischief. “How was your night, charm?” I teased with a smirk, feigning nonchalance. “It was amazing, thanks for this opportunity,” she replied, rising gracefully from the bed and sauntering toward the bathroom. I sensed the simmering anger still lingering from our last encounter, a tension that only added to her allure. As she stood before me, undressing with a confidence that left me breathless, my eyes widened in awe. Her body was nothing short of divine—curvaceous, with a shapely figure that drew me in like a magnet. She was fully aware of the effect she had on me, her actions deliberate as if to provoke. “Charm, I want to apologize for what happened…” I began, trying to bridge the gap between us. But she cut me off, her voice tinged with an enchanting sadness. “You don't need to apologize, Mr. Thompson. I’m not furious, just... a signed contract.” She turned away, the weight of her words heavy in the air. I followed her movements, unable to resist the pull of her captivating presence. The glass shower beckoned, and as she poured water over her body, the sight left me utterly spellbound. She rubbed her curves against the glass, teasing me mercilessly. The temptation to join her surged within me, but I hesitated, knowing she was a virgin and that the moment needed to be special. “I’d love for you to join me, Ethan,” she purred, her voice a sultry invitation that sent shivers down my spine. I froze, torn between desire and restraint, enthralled by the way she called my name. Just then, my phone rang—a business call demanding my attention. Cathrina raised an eyebrow, playful mischief in her gaze. “You’re not going to pick that, are you?” With a sly smile, I shrugged off my shirt and stepped closer, leaning in for a passionate kiss that ignited every spark of longing within me. In that moment, all that existed was the intoxicating chemistry between us, ready to set fire to a day filled with possibilities. We went straight to the bed to finish what we had started, but she hesitated, saying she wasn't ready to lose her virginity and that she wanted to save it for the right man—not for a fake wedding. I felt a surge of frustration because I had never felt this way about anyone before, and I desperately wanted to experience the taste of her lips. She went straight to the bathroom for a proper bath, while I sat on the bed, wondering how I would deal with my growing arousal. A few minutes later, Cathrina came closer to me. "Can we talk?" she asked, gazing into my eyes. "Sure, what's the issue?" I replied. "The meeting you had the other day with Mr. Jake—I overheard something that caught my attention. You gave me a threatening look. Is Jake the man my father owes money to?" she said, her voice tinged with sadness as she looked directly into my eyes. "Yes, but it's Jake's father, not him. Jake doesn't know anything about the debts concerning your family," I explained. She seemed relieved, as if she was scared that if Jake found out, he would harm her. "If I may ask, what type of business issue did my father get caught up in? I know he can't be stealing—my father is not a thief," she said. Cathrina is a very clever girl. Of course, it's not corporate theft; it’s money laundering. She doesn't know that her father is an evil, selfish man who has done terrible things for money, but I couldn't tell her just yet. That would only spoil her mood on our honeymoon. "I don't really know, Cathrina. All I know is that I'm here to help you and your family, and you are to help me too," I said. "And how am I helping you?" she asked. "Cathrina, I'm a billionaire CEO who needs a fake fiancée for business reasons to secure my prestige. Why do you think I accepted your father’s request?" I replied sarcastically, as if I would have ever known her if it weren't for her father. She lowered her head, looking sad. I could tell what was going through her mind, and I felt bad for her, but I couldn't do anything about it. "I'm going for a walk. Want to join me?" I asked politely. "No, I’m good," she said, turning away. I decided to leave her with her thoughts. She would get over it; it was just a matter of time. I stepped outside to get some fresh air just as I received a call from an unknown number. My heart skipped a beat. I never expected to hear from Victoria so soon, especially while I was on my honeymoon with Cathrina. But the moment I heard Victoria's sultry voice on the other end, I knew I was in trouble.
