Olivia POV: Micheal was waiting for me as I parked my Audi. "Good Morning Olivia," he beamed, "why is everyone so cheery in the morning?" I mused, "maybe it's because you're the only person not getting any!" He exclaimed and I laughed, "you always bring that up Micheal," I say as he grabs my books, "and so? Is it not true?" I smile at his incessant teasing. Micheal has become our field trainer since graduating, until my brother returns and he has to take up his beta duties. "So how's Kathy?" I ask and he grimaces, "you know her, she's up and down with me." "Why don't you settle down for real?" I ask as I brush a loose strand of hair behind my ear, "I don't know," he says as he watches me intently with his green eyes, "I guess, I'm just waiting for the right girl to notice me." We continue walking to class and make plans to meet for lunch. "Olivia!" Shouted Astrid when she saw me, she was standing by the locker with one of the jocks. She shot her hand up and jumped up and down, her blonde curls bouncing with her, I walked faster towards the energetic she wolf. "Oh My Goddess!" She exclaimed looking at my outfit, "you know, you used to be captain of the cheerleading squad!" She exclaimed, I shrugged as a smile creeped across my face, "I know," I smiled and she hooked her arm in mine, slamming her locker as she pulled me away and we walked to class. "So are you coming to the game this afternoon?" She asked and I sighed as we both knew the answer, "Astrid, you know my mother-" "Yeah! Yeah! But I have a plan," she said and I grimaced because her plans hardly worked out, "hear me out!" She exclaimed excitedly, "everyone's talking about how your brother returns today," she whispered and I c****d an eye brow at her, "news travels fast," I said playfully and she shrugged, "small town, now, I got some intel that your mom is going to be out the whole day with him so as long as you get back before dark, you will be fine!" She looked at me with those water colour eyes of hers, pleading for me to say yes. "Fine!" I give in and she squeals again, being at school made me feel much better. "Oh! By the way," she said turning her head back to me, "what do you want to do for your eighteenth?" Her question stumped me, "I don't know." She pulled me into the girls bathroom and rolled her eyes. "We are gonna have a party!" "No! Absolutely not!" I exclaimed putting up my arms in front of me, "Astrid, my parents are arranging my marriage." She looked at me shocked, "what!?" I nodded at her and she put down her peach gloss and looked at me, "when did you find out?" She asked, "last night," I sniffed, "Oh! Olivia," she cooed as she pulled me into a hug, "maybe there's a way to stop this, they can't seriously do that!" The water works had started and I couldn't hold it in, "they're the Alpha and Luna, it's already decided!" She grabbed tissue and immediately handed it to me, "you could always run away and come live with me, I'm leaving to my aunts in another pack after graduation," she said as she rubbed my arm, "they'll find me," I noted and she pulled me into another hug, "think about it. If you don't want this, I'll help you get out!" I nodded and she wiped my tears away, "now come on my beautiful best friend, we have a life to live." I chuckled at her bubbly nature and she pulled me out the bathroom, "and anyways, there is nothing they can do if you find your mate," said Astrid as we walked into English, "my mate, I wonder who he could be and if he is even any better," Astrid rolls her eyes, "he has to be! The Moon Goddess doesn't make mistakes Olivia!" I smiled at her as we sat down and opened our books. The whole lesson went long as we read and analyzed Macbeth but I couldn't focus. There was this gnawing feeling in the pit of my stomach and it seemed to get worse and worse. I stared out the window and wondered if maybe I shouldn't skip the game.
