Celyne POV I was going to do it. The broken glass trembled violently in my hand, its jagged edge glinting faintly under the dim hospital light. My wrist felt exposed. Fragile. One move. Just one… and everything would finally stop. The pain. The emptiness. The suffocating silence inside my chest. My breath came out uneven, shaky, as tears blurred my vision. “I can’t do this anymore…” I whispered brokenly. I raised my hand slightly— “Celyne…” My brows furrowed. The voice was faint. Distant. Like an echo. I blinked. “Celyne…” Again. Closer this time. My grip on the glass tightened. My heart began to pound erratically. No… I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to block it out. “I’m tired…” I murmured, my voice cracking. “Please just let me go…” “Celyne!” My eyes snapped open.
