After Vivi followed the manager into the VIP room, Ethan quickly made his way toward Jessica. "What was Austin doing here with Peter?" he asked.
Jessica responded indifferently, "Nothing."
Ethan frowned. "If you want my help, I need to know everything."
Jessica's cold gaze remained unmoved. "When did I ever ask for your help?" she retorted.
Ethan, frustrated by her arrogance, had an urge to take both Jessica and Samantha and string them up for a beating.
"Forget it. Trash like Peter and Austin won't stir up much trouble," Ethan said, pulling the jade artifact made of human bone from his pocket. "This is yours, right? You left it in my car last time. It's made from the bones of someone who died violently. It messes with your luck. You should throw it away."
