Shirley woke up this time with no strange white hair or frozen beds or Frost covered walls. In fact her day was weirdly normal.
It seemed saying no to frozen and Yes to the woman king was what she had really needed to curb the unnatural phenomenon of her turning into the Killer Frost.
Moving her lazy ass from the queen sized bed she had slept on, she stripped as walked into the bathroom then took a quick shower. In twenty minutes she was ready for work as she was dressed in a white shirt, blue skinny jeans and her favorite pairs of boot. Inserting her contacts to her eyes, she walked into the kitchen she shared with her roomie as she could smell burning toast.
"Where the hell's Addy" She groaned as she switched off the gas burner. Eyeing the burnt toast with disgust, she took a quick bite from it then tosses it into the bin. No matter how hungry she was burnt toast was a no go for her. Grabbing an apple from the fridge (which was the only edible thing in her fridge) she grabs her glock and SIG, car keys and lastly her badge.
"Hey Addy the toast's burnt, have fun with that" Shirley yelled to her roomie who was busy watching some Chinese drama or was it Korean, She had no idea all she knew was her roomie had a bad taste in movies.. Nothing beat a good crime movie or series. It was Criminal minds or even blindspot for her. Now those were the real deal.
"Holy s**t I'm sorry Shirls but this is too good for me to leave look Xu Shao is about to get shot, please turn off the burner, I love you bestie" Addy yelled absolutely mindedly causing Shirley to roll her eyes.
One day Adele will burn down the building and when that happens she'd probably been vacaying in Cayman Islands or the Bahamas.

Applause sounded the minute Shirley stepped into the precinct. Shirley froze like a deer caught in headlights. She looked around the pristine walls of the precinct noting the banners that said “Congratulations Detective Supercop”
"What the heck's goin' on here?" Shirley found herself ask rudely. God she hated attention, never was okay with it which was why she turned down many interviews from reporters. God knows she didn't want no drama in her life, she didn't ask to get famous after saving the Governor's daughter from a serial killer. She'd figured that out even before the other detectives had figured out who the Serial killer was. They had been chasing the Strangler for over five years and had yet to catch him and Shirley had figured out who the guy was even as a rookie cop.
He was Bradley Chase, Darlene Worthington's golden haired blue eyed movie star ex - boyfriend of two years and it turned out he had been killing off his exes and the craziest thing was each time he'd have an alibi. His stunt double who no one knew about.
And that was how she'd gotten famous and had been dubbed super cop especially after she had been made a detective with her busting more asses.
"You pulled off an extremely impossible case all on your own" Marc Schmidt a brown haired larger than life cop gushed out. You could clearly see the hero worship in his eyes.
"I did no such thing. I had help, now where's that grumpy ass, I owe him my life" Shirley says looking around for O'Reilly. He had been the one to get help and had saved her life. Didn't matter he had been the one to save hers first. She stared at the familiar faces of the policemen and policewoman who obviously needed her to be the hero.
The needed their bubbles burst.
"I just happens I enjoy killing, O'Reilly is the real hero here guys"
Snorts and laughter was all that could be heard as her colleagues disregarded her words. They all knew how modest she was.
"We all know the truth Leroy and we're celebrating tonight at Shannon's, I know you can't turn down free beer so show up or I'll personally drag your ass down the bar, Ernie's words not mine" Officer Sue Mallory a twenty three year old African American cop who wore a permanent smile on her lips said..
"Where's that lil s**t?" she asks surprised as she was yet to see her friend.
"Alright everyone funtime's over, get out and do the jobs you were actually paid for, chop chop!" Chief Wilkinson yelled causing everyone to scramble off. Shirley was about to disappear when Wilkinson stopped her.
"Leroy?"
"Yes Chief"
"To my office now" Chief Wilkinson not waiting to see if Shirley had followed him walked into his office with the former hot at his heels.
"Sit Leroy" He but out with clenched teeth
Shirley sat down wondering what she had done wrong.
"Why the hell do I have those damned reporters hanging around my precinct" He barked while rubbing his mustache "We are here to keep the city safe not grant interviews, Leroy make them go away"
Shirley gritted her teeth. How was the press her fault. She never did any interviews heck she didn't give them a time of her day and here she is getting blamed and tasked with the responsibility of getting rid of them.
"Yes Chief" she said reluctantly.
"You are dismissed"
Shirley who figured she was free started to leave, she heads toward the door.
"One Last thing Leroy?"
"Sir?" Shirley arched one brow in surprise.
"I've got a new case for you and O'Reilly
❄️-❄️
" Where was She?" was the first question he asked himself after rummaging through the entire apartment. He had searched the bathrooms, kitchen, the roommates bedroom, the guest bedroom and even her bedroom yet no sign of her.
Gripping his snow white hair in his hands, he groaned with frustration. He had searched for in her precinct but hadn't seen her.
"Maybe she's in Georgia" Aron mused but he refuted the thought. There was no way she was in Redbridge, Georgia for He had been there the previous day and had not seen his quarry.
Aron stared again at the photograph Jack had given him for the mission and groaned running his hands once again in his white hair. Jack was incorrigible as Snow. How the Frost did Jack expect him to find Elsa with just a picture of his daughter as a month old silver eyed baby. Finding Elsa had been all by himself, he had hired a human P. I and had gathered information on everyone twenty seven year old white women from Redbridge and had come up with his findings on Detective Shirley Elisabeth Leroy and he'd swear on his long life that Elsa had turned out the exact opposite of Jack... Dedicated and smart.
But Elsa's home address Aron had hacked the police department for it and after everything he had done and all the money he had spent, Elsa was no where to be found.
Kicking his feet on the wall he yelped in pain, hopping around on one foot while the bruise on his feet healed.
Meanwhile Addy who heard the commotion from Shirley's room took up the shotgun Shirley had gifted her earlier on their friendversary then snuck into Shirley's bedroom. Her eyes widened when she saw the white haired silver eyed white boy.
"Who the hell are you?" She asked pointing the shotgun on Aron's head.
Aron who was sure had he had never met the unsmiling redhead before was surprised to be caught unawares. This had never happened to him before.
"The name's Aron, a friend of Shirley's" He lies keeping his expression neutral.
"No you ain't, now if you don't start talkin' I'm gonna blast your baby maker off white boy" Addy threatened darkly as she let her inner Shirley Leroy out. If only Shirley could see her she'd be so damn proud of her.
Aron shivered at the Frost in her tone and wondered if the woman before him wasn't actually Elsa and not her roommate. Afraid to lose his baby maker since he wasn't immortal like the guardians he served and was just shy of two hundred which was way less the thousand years his kind usually got, he opted for the truth.
"Fine fine I'll talk" He cried, swallowing visibly at the gun pointed to his privates causing Addy to Smirk in satisfaction.
"Go on"
"My name is Ar--Aron Huunch and I'm here for Elsa" He stuttered.
Addy c****d one slim brow confused as to what he meant (she's still held on to the rifle) And for once in her life she was glad Shirley had dragged her to target practice back in college.
"Who the hell is Elsa?"
"Shirley, Shirley Elisabeth Leroy, she's my cousin" Aron rushed out..
"What I didn't know Shirley had white cousins" Addy lowered her gun then stared at him hard. She could see that Aron looked like a male version of Shirley except the white hair and silver eyes.
"So tell me Aron, why's your hair white?" she asked after sometime.
"I needed a makeover and I thought Aron you'd look perfect in White and before you ask for my eyes, yes they are real" He sassed causing Addy to roll her eyes. There was no doubt, Aron was Shirley's cousin, younger cousin maybe and if Shirley found out she treated her cousin badly she'd have her head.
"So Aron how long are you in town for?"
