Lucius “We’ll go with the first plan, Nathan,” I said, passing the white paper back to the factory manager. “Done, Sir. We'll start making preparations as soon as possible,” Nathan answered politely, rising to his feet. I nodded my head in agreement. “Do so. Report back to me if there's anything. Please make sure you inspect every material before proceeding.” “Trust me on that.” As Nathan left my office, I loosened my tie and raked my hand through my hair in exhaustion. We had been discussing manufacturing a new shoe design, and it wasn't easy to take in everything all at once. Due to my absence at the company, I had lost track of most project progress. Nathan was the manager in charge of the factory where the shoes were being manufactured. He had been in that role for about two years.
