“A Tower Operation was meant to be a containment mission,” Garrick says. “Codex resonance breach. Seris was on the original advisory board. She argued for direct engagement. Command declined to give her field authority. She participated anyway.”
The room feels colder.
“After the breach,” the Sonorous liaison says stiffly, “Seris disappeared from official channels and presummed dead.. Her Order status was revoked. She is now classified as a rogue Echo-Warden. Enemy-of-Accord. Tier One.”
Garrick taps the holo again. The dossier zooms back in on the Seris flag—Sel A Holdings, archived, unresolved.
