Infatuation and Love feelings differs

Few hours later, Abraham called me and told me to rush to the General Hospital Lagos State, which was a like a stone throw from my house. So i rush to the Hospital, on reaching i saw Janice weeping bitterly, so I rushed to her and asked her what happen? She replied saying "that Samuel and Pheobe had an accident on their way back from the eatery which they had their dinner". It was like a fiction cause it haven't been long before we spoke to our self, so I rush to theatre where I saw the Doctor attending to the injured patient , there I saw Abraham and Henry looking at what the doctor was doing through a Glass and they were both bittered and depressed which I tried to console them until the Doctor was done with his treatment.

After the long wait, the Doctor came out to calm everyone with the outcome of their injuries. According to him, both of them would be fine but only that Samuel had some fractures on his right arm while Phoebe injuries was severe cause she had some fracture on her feet that won't allow her work properly, which means she will need supportive means like a walking stick. This made everyone depressed but affected Henry the most cause he could not believe that his pride which was Phoebe would need a walking stick to work. The Doctor was then asked when would they be able to go home? He replied saying "tomorrow they all will be discharged". Therefore, Abraham and I pursued everyone to go home that they will be discharged tomorrow. But Janice and Henry insisted that they will stay at the hospital to watch over Samuel and Pheobe, the problem now was how to go and inform Samuel mum of the accident that happen to her son. So I volunteered to tell Samuel mum even when I don't know how to explain what happen and told Abraham to go home, cause she had always known me and Samuel have some certain characters together even though she was not aware that her son has a girlfriend which made him more exposed than me. On my way to the house all the courage I gathered to tell the mum vanished, my heart began to beat like they were playing songs for masquerade but I knew was that am going to tell the mum what happened even though I don't know how to start cause I know that the mum too will be disturb if she don't see throughout the night. So when I knocked the door, unknowingly the door was opened and I entered, maybe she was expecting that Samuel will be the last person to enter the house and lock the door. After entering the house to sit down I saw the mum lying at the right cushion, she was suprise cause it has been a while before I came for visiting so she stood up rush embrace me and asked if I care for food? So I said "No". That I came here cause of her son. She became anxious and wanted to know what happen to her son that she has been waiting for, which I told her everything that happen from the eatery where they have their dinner to the accident which leads to her son been Hospitalized at the General Hospital in Lagos. Before I could tell her how the injury was she had rushed out of the house and dragged me with her to the hospital.

On reaching the hospital, she ran straight to the bed which her son lyed but was confused to see another lady their so she called me and asked "Who is that?" and I replied saying that " She is a Good Friend of Sam" cause I couldn't risk receiving a hot slap from the Sam mum if she was told that she was his girlfriend which would make it look like a competition between the girlfriend and the mum. So I entered the room and told Janice that Sam mum is here, that she should give them chance which she agreed and followed me. But I too needed to clear my burden by calling my mum and telling her about the accident, cause I won't be able to come home that night to avoid any form of hypertension or high blood pressure on my mum cause she will be very worried. So I went down to locate the receptionist to help with her phone cause I wasn't having airtime at that moment, which she did and I was able to talk to my mum. I was very grateful to her and then rushed back upstairs to meet with others. Where I met Henry and Janice, then stayed with them throughout the night.

The Next Morning, Abraham brought some food for the everyone to eat. The were all happy that Samuel and Phoebe were getting better than how they were yesterday but Sam mother was disturb about the girl she meet with her son yesterday, she then called for her and question her on her relationship with her son. Due to fear and the way Sam mum sounded. She replied saying "Samuel and i are very good friends". She still wanted me to explain further before the Doctor came in for morning routine check up on the patient and confirmed that they will be okay, that they could be discharged so he bandaged the arm of Sam and brought a walking stick for Phoebe as a supportive means for her injured leg to enable her walk well again but will need to rest well and have to be treated with love and care to speedy their recovery. Without any hesitation, Samuel mum asked the billsof her son, which she paid and then supported her son and took him home cause she was not feeling condusive with the evironment, while Henry and Abraham paid for pheobe bills together and helped carried her to the house which she stays. Janice and i were the remaining persons left, but Janice was still sober for Samuel condition that I too needed to carry her home or else she would breakdown with tears any moment. I was so suprise with the way Janice cared for Samuel that she was still sober even after the Mother had come to take care of him she was still sad, could it be that she had fallen for him totally or she was jst a caring. While for Henry, it was time for him to proved the love he had always say he had for Phoebe or was Abraham was the one right that It just an Infatuated feelings

Thereafter, throughout the healing process Phoebe was like a pest in the neck of Henry, any little thing she wanted she will have to call him to come to her house to help cause the Doctor had requested for her to rest to enable speedy the recovery. So she was just helpless, indeed it was not only a supportive media of the walking stick she needed, she was also in needed of Henry love and care, that could help do what she wanted cause standing up to go and get somethings like water, prepare for herself food, going to the toilet to urinate or excret was becoming a burden. Henry had to be going to her place everyday to check up on her and when he goes, he must stay with her for some while. Even somedays when she haven't seen she will have to called him with her phone asking him "Baby where are you". But he got to a time Henry affection for her began to depreciate towards Phoebe cause for him, he saw that the healing process was just delaying and he was just been use by Phoebe. So with time, he began to give some gap in such a way that whenever she call him, he was always engaged with something to do so he will tell her that he with for an errand or he was not close by. This may Phoebe wonder if this was the same guy that was saying that he loves, that he would do anything for her as for her but whenever she calls him, he kept on posting her always saying he will not be able to come that she should find someone else. This lead to Pheobe been shocked and depressed she could not believe the attitude of Henry all of a sudden, thinking of what have come of her life after the love she thought Henry had for her, even saying that without her in his life he has nothing to live for.

So Phoebe became worried thinking of who she could called, she took her phone scrolled the contact like three times searching for a number she could called but no number to her mind that she could call cause she didn't wanted to use her problem to inconvenience anyone not until the thought of Abraham came to her mind. Although she knew he would not reject her cause of their childhood experience they had except he also was engage with something very serious that could make him reject her call. So she called Abraham like 3 times but he didn't pick, so she became worried that if Abraham could not pick her calls then there was no one that would even hear what she wanted to say which made her restless thinking of how she could take care of herself with this her state, so she sleep off while deep in her thoughts.

Few moments later, Abraham saw her missed call and returned it to her, Phoebe phone which was close to her on the bed rangd and was very happy which she rushed and picked it. She explained to him why she called him and what happen between she and Henry, after a long conversations between both of them. Abraham who had some feelings for her, which was beyond their childhood level decided to go to her house although he had always known that Henry wasn't the guy that could fit her, he just had Infatuated feelings for her due to her beautiful shape and busty looks but now that he was suppose to proved the love he profess to her, he was no where to been found. So Abraham and phoebe had no problem getting along, they were very compatible to the extent that things which Henry saw as Burden to him, Abraham did them without thinking twice, sometimes he will stay with her till in the evening when she fall asleep before going back home. This made Phoebe suprised cause the manner he treated her was different which made her rested well and this boosted the injury recovery.

One week later, Phoebe regain her locomotive activity back without the use of stick. This time Abraham was the supportive locomotive media, during this process she began to see Abraham more than her childhood friend but rather something more mutual than childhood friend so she asked him if he had any feelings for her beyond their friendship level he replied saying "YES", so he confess to her saying that this affection he has towards her started since the birthday party but didn't want to rush her cause then, she was just seeing me as more of just a childhood friend nothing more. Abraham love and care as Prescribed by the Doctor helped her moved again without the help of any supportive media, she could move well again.

Meanwhile, Samuel too recovered from the injury he had in his arm with the affection gave to him by his Mum and Janice which the Mum addressed as Sam good friend, unknown to her that she was his girlfriend. Janice love for Samuel even grew stronger during his time recovery from his injury. Most time she will want to cook food for him to eat but when she remember that Samuel has a mum that can do that she withdraw so that it won't be a competition between the mother and the girlfriend rather she buy him fruit for him to take. So when Samuel recovered he was told by his mum how he was taken care of and a lady who addresses herself as your good friend how she always bring fruit for you. Before the mum could explain further he just laughed and asked the mum when would she be coming again, the mother replied saying she said "she will come tomorrow ". Samuel was so anxious to see her and thank her for all what she passed through during the time he was injured. Behold, Janice came the next day and saw that Samuel arm was completely healed, they rushed each other and hugged themselves, the joy was seen everywhere and Samuel thanked her for all she went through during his injury time, they both smile at qdsq each other and hugged once again.

Thereafter, when Henry had heard that Phoebe could walk again well again, he tried to call her on phone but her network was unavailable, so he rushed to go and check on her at home even though he was ashamed of himself there was still some courage left with him. On reaching the house he knocked at the door but there was no one inside, so he tried the line again but still not available, he became angry with himself and left. Unknown to him, Phoebe had moved on with her life and was very happy to have Abraham at her side cause they understood theirselves since childhood. So the relationship between Phoebe and Abraham was no longer news cause everyone now knew of their relationship. This may Henry furious and began to generate some hatred for Abraham cause he saw Abraham as a backstabbers and promise to deal with him. Which he later went to Phoebe house for the second time, but this time he was lucky to see the both of them at home, so he approached them and began to questioned Phobe and Abraham actions explaining the love he had towards Phoebe but before he could finish, he was cut short by Pheobe which she told him that he didn't knew the meaning of LOVE cause if he had known, he wouldn't have left her when she couldn't work properly due to the accident she had, that he made her took all the burden upon herself not until Abraham came into the picture and showed the love and affection you couldn't give me when I needed it the most. This may Henry realised what he had done but it was too late to correct the mistake, so he left the house feeling remorse of what he had done but at the same time was happy to see Phoebe smile again. But always saw Abrabam as a snitch for going behind his and taking his girlfriend whereas Samuel and Janice relationship was seen to be one of the best because they proved that the love they profess to each other was true, even when the Samuel mum questioned her at the hospital of who she was to her son cause of the affection she had towards him, despite the mum questioning her she still went to his house and took care of him which was like a competition between the mum and girlfriend whereby the Mum provided food while she brought fruit to Samuel.

Nowadays, most teenagers can't tell if the feelings they have between one another can be called love or Infatuation, this is because love differs from Infatuation although they may look like two side of the same coin, They only differs in their duration. When you are in love with someone, your affection and care for that person has no limit, you can do anything for that person which means you are not only attracted to the person base on their physical features but loving the person for who he or she is. Just like how Samuel and Janice loved theirselves in the story even when he damage his arm the love was till their and she took care of him until he recovered like wise for other girls to have this kind of patience would have beginning to see him as a burden. While Infatuation is known to be a foolish type of obsession for something or someone that doesn't last long. Mostly Infatuated feelings for someone is base on their physical features for example, guys will say they love a girl once she have big breast, big buttocks, curves and how beautiful she is. Although this are some of the characteristics every guy will want to see in girl before thinking of having any love for a girl but when the physical feature are no longer their what the love they say they have for her will begin to depreciate, this when Infatuation comes just like how Henry profess his for love Phoebe but when she needed his help most, he wasn't their for her. Although, he said he loved her but the feelings he had towards her was just Infatuation not until Abraham her childhood, who throughly love her beyond their childhood levels came into the picture and replaced Henry when she needed him most.

As time past, Abraham received a call that he had gotten the scholarship which he applied for abroad, it was a good news for all of us. So he rushed and told his parent which they all celebrated with him, then he told his girlfriend Phoebe but she was having a mixed feeling which was that he was going to leave her but at the same time, she was happy that he was moving out of the country to school. So he was very busy with his preparations cause the resumption date had been set. And he only had one week to prepare before travelling, this made some distance between him and Pheobe which she understood the reason, this made her decided to go back to her parent cause she would be lonely when Abraham had left.

One week later, Abraham was to leave for his trip so everyone was there to wish goodbye including Pheobe which he rushed and they both hugged each other, saying to one another how they would miss each other when they are distant from one another, this made both of them wept bitterly and Abraham promise to locate her when his back to the country and then left for his journey.

It wasn't long after Abraham admission, Henry, Samuel and I also got admission into the same institution which we applied but this time was JAMB. It was a thing of Joy cause we all got admission to the various institutions we applied for, this led to another distance between Janice and Samuel but their were preferable due to the fact that the university they applied for was still wetin the country whereby they could see theirselves more often compare to Abraham and Pheobe. This may us all had gotten an ideal or experience of knowing when someone is in love or having an Infatuated feelings most especially Henry. Cause stories has been narrated of how girls distract boys from studies in the University because of their beauty and before you know a guy will just say he loves the girl not knowing if it is truly love or Infatuated feelings.
