CHRISTINA'S POV
And I gasped in shock beads of sweat formed on my forehead. Thank God that it was just a nightmare reliving the death of Zack was driving me over the edge and I was slowly losing my mind.
Everyone on the plane kept staring at me like I was some crazy person and I hastily wiped the sweat off my feverish forehead.
"Relax Christina" Eric whispers and I lean on his shoulder a silent sob escaped my lips and my heart instantly shattered into a thousand pieces.
"Zack is gone..." I sob painfully.
I feel Eric's body go tense and he sighs deeply tucking a strade of brown hair behind my ear gently.
"It wasn't your fault Christina you were just a victim of circumstances. Just try to close your eyes and get some rest I will wake you up once we arrive in London."
I nodded quitely and my eye lids suddenly felt heavy as the deep slumber engrossed me
ERIC'S POV
Christina was finally asleep and I felt more at ease her nightmares seemed to be constant and they worried me as well.
She needed to see a shrink as soon as possible otherwise she would only get worse. I hated seeing her broken and vulnerable, but I doubt if my comfort would ever take away the pain she was feeling.
She had to deal with two unfortunate losses one of her grandfather Mr. Noble and the other of her fiancé Zack Chan.
She didn't deserve to go through that kind of pain , but she couldn't escape or break the bond she had with the Bravata or her family's corrupted name because she was marked for life.
Six hours later the plane landed in London and I sighed in relief. It was going to be a new start for the both of us.
And it was time to wake her up.
I shook her shoulder lightly she pushed my hand away and murmured something in her unconscious state, but I didn't give up.
"Christina wake up we've arrived" I said quietly but firm.
She lazily opened her beautiful brown eyes and let out a yawn she looked simply gorgeous. Watching her sleep just satisfied my soul and I couldn't get enough of this beautiful woman sitting beside me.
Her tempting brown eyes met mine and she gave me a small smile despite the pain and torment she had been going through. Christina was a really strong woman and I respected her enormously.
"Take the girls and I'll carry our luggage just stay close to me and don't talk to any strangers we must keep a low profile."
She sighed and rolled her eyes at me.
"I know what I'm supposed to do Eric I'm not a child" she fired back fiercely and my eyes darkened with lust. I remained silent starting a fight with Christina was the last thing I wanted to do right now.
Once we reached the airport I handled all the legal formalities and a few minutes later we were in a taxi heading to our newly furnished apartment.
Mr. Noble had carefully prepared everything in case things got bloody like the situation we were in right now.
"You look tired" I mutter quietly and Christina c***s a brow at me.
"Well honestly I am tired and I hate long flights" she said dreadfully and I suppressed a chuckle and rather nodded.
"I want ice cream...mommy" Cassandra whines and pouts her lips trying to charm her mother with her cuteness.
She smiles at her fondly.
"Sweetheart you can have some ice cream once we reach at our new home" she says softly Cassie nods sadly and Christina pecks her chubby cheeks.
Luckily Kenzie was asleep in my arms when I moved she snuggled closer and my heart swelled with affection.
My fingers went through her curly black hair and I smiled inwardly I don't know why, but I found myself getting attached to these little girls.
I guess I was fond of them.
Thirty minutes later we arrived at our new apartment as my eyes took in the stunning view of the apartment and yard.
I let out a small whisle.
