"Mech Squad, let's roll out and take them on!"
Sandra's shout pierced the air, rallying the mech squad into action as they charged into the wild assortment of beasts.
The creatures attacking the city were a chaotic mix, their assault fierce and relentless. Yet, against the formidable mechs, they were easy prey.
The mechs were ferocious on their own, and with the artillery on the walls relentlessly pounding with a barrage of pre-loaded shells, the beasts were quickly forced into retreat.
Though lacking human intelligence, the beasts, faced with such a life-and-death crisis, swiftly grasped the situation and fled, howling in terror.
Seeing the beasts retreat, Sandra didn't order a pursuit. Instead, she quickly had the mech squad return to the city.
"Something's definitely off here."
