As soon as the words left his mouth, Hairy swiftly drew his firearm and, with a thunderous "bang," ended Gavin's life.
"Wasn't that a bit extreme, just killing him like that?"
Sandra snapped back to reality at the sound of Gavin's agonized scream.
"Don't worry, Miss Sandra. Taking out Gavin was a task subtly assigned to me by the leader. Otherwise, why would I suddenly appear here?"
Hairy grinned at Sandra as he explained. After assigning Gavin his task, Anthony had approached Hairy, instructing him to keep a constant watch over Sandra's safety. Anthony had made it clear that if Sandra faced any threat, Hairy was authorized to eliminate the danger, regardless of the consequences.
