"Look out, Chief!"
Hairy yelled, thrusting Anthony aside just in time, but took the brunt of the porcupine's charge himself. He was hurled through the air, crashing to the ground, blood gushing from his mouth.
"Hairy!"
Anthony snapped back to reality, sprinting to Hairy's side. Seeing Hairy's dire condition, Anthony grabbed his musket and fired desperately at the porcupine.
The porcupine had become sly. After each attack, it retreated into the dark corners of the cave, making it impossible for anyone to track its movements.
Realizing this, Anthony quickly put away his musket, pulled out herbs from his backpack, and began treating Hairy's wounds.
Just then, the porcupine charged at Anthony and his group again. Its speed had decreased, but its power was undiminished.
