After a long day of shopping for dresses and gifts, Maya, Antonio, and I were drained. We all parted ways to get a few hours of rest. I went to my room and Raphael was not there. I took my phone out of my purse to call him. I told him to never leave without telling me or I would get anxious. After everything that has happened, I am fearful of something happening to him again.
I called him but it went straight to voice mail. I started getting anxious and I was about to leave and look for him but he walked inside the room.
" Oh, you are back Mel. How was the shopping trip," he asks.
I didn't answer him and just hugged him.
" Okay?..." he mutters confused by my behavior.
" Thank God you are safe," I mumbled into his chest.
" What's wrong Mel?" We pull away from each other
