Chapter 14“More coffee ready?”
Javi looked up from cleaning the counter after breakfast. Razz was at the door of the mess, carrying a couple of empty mugs.
“I’m about to put some on,” Javi said. He called through to the galley. “Stel, I’m setting up the coffee for the morning.”
“Good lad,” she called back, busy making the first preparations for lunch.
Razz came in and sat at one of the newly cleaned tables. He’d come in earlier to have breakfast, but had gone again quickly. Nobody had lingered for long that morning and everyone had been quiet and glum. Even Aron had barely spoken to Javi, just sat and stared into the middle distance.
